Due to the fact that I really have nothing to say recently, my blog looks super boring.  :(  I'm sorry!

This is what I do almost every day.  It is going to sound boring so exciting.

Get up
Take Jack to work
Go to work
Listen to people whine about other associates.
Work
Leave work.
Pick Jack up.
Go home.
Make dinner/watch TV.
Go to sleep.
Repeat.

I swear I am not trying to avoid my blog!

Oh I have also gone to 2 Predators games and we went to Zanies last night and saw the hilarious and hot Brian Callen.

One of those boring just about work blogs....

Last night Renee tells me that she made sure to straighten the entire store just like I like it (shouldn't it always be like that) because she had a feeling that the "tall man" was coming the next day.

Who shows up at my store this morning?  The "tall man" aka my boss.  My visit was a lot better than the last one I had where he stormed out without talking to anyone.  He left me a much shorter list this time.  YAY!

I had a little old lady today bring some cat food up to the counter.  She said it was supposed to be buy one get one.  It actually wasn't on sale this week probably last.  Just when she is about to walk out, one of my usual customers saw the cat food and asked me if she was going to buy that.  I told him no because she thought it was on sale, but it wasn't.  He looks over at the little old lady and says, "Young lady, young lady come here for a minute.  Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ?"  She says, "Of course, I do." He says, "Well young lady I am a brother in Christ and all the credit goes to him."  He laid down a 20 dollar bill to pay for it.  She said, "Oh please will you let me pay for half of it, I was going to planning on paying half."  He said, "No ma'am you don't worry about a thing.  Our animals need to food too.   I choked back the tears.  I can't even think about it without tearing up.  The lady looked at me and said, "I just can't believe this happened.  I can't believe he did this for me."

Boring Post

We have decided to put off the house search until next year.
I want to get a credit score, so it will be a little easier on us, so I now have a secured credit card.  Whoot whoot.

One of my shift supervisors is leaving, so I get to train someone.  I have mixed feelings about this.  I have noticed that more people at my store have really been telling me their opinions about her, and the consensus is that most people will be glad that she is gone.  I know my boss won't be sad to hear that she is leaving.

I rented my husband a game on the way home.  He hasn't stopped playing it 3 hours later.

I have successfully gotten rid of caffeine again.  YAY!  I did drink some the other day when I pulled a double, but I could justify it.

I am seriously considering not getting my car fixed from where that guy hit it in the parking lot.  The money is far more enticing.  I figure when I do sell it, I will sell it to some teenager that just needs a cheap car.  I don't intend on doing that for a very long time.  I seriously think either Jack or I will drive it until the wheels fall off or someone totals it out which is what I was hoping for with the door.

Old Forge, NY additions!

I just realized that I totally forgot to say that

1.  I went to Niagara Falls!  How the hell did I forget to mention that?  That was the best part of my trip!  It really is beautiful.  I totally want to get my passport, so I can go over to Canada and see it from that angle!  I also want to take someone that can walk more that my mother in law because there is so much to do and see there, and I didn't get to do any of it!  Erg.

2.  My mother in law would have bought me any and everything I could have ever wanted while we were on this trip.  I would have never let her, but if I even remotely said that I liked something she would try to buy it for me.

3.  I totally opened my store an hour and a half late the Monday after my vacation.

4.  Another one of the questions she kept asking me, "Do you not drive with the radio on?"  "Well we were talking, I don't generally like to try to talk over the radio."  <--If I were alone, I have constant radio/music companionship.

5.  I had no cell reception whatsoever.  I should have brought my laptop to hook into the wi-fi that they did have.

6.  I kick myself everytime I think about the fact that I should have just gotten a damn motel room!

7.  I know there is more.  I'll keep you posted.

Old Forge Trip take 4

By Wednesday, I was ready to leave.  I was hoping that we would leave that afternoon.  I wish I would have stayed at motel.  I would have had a much better time.  Mo told Pat that we were going to leave on Friday, and I told her that I really wanted to be able to spend the weekend with Jack and I would prefer to leave Thursday so that was the new plan.

That morning someone finally came and looked at the brakes on the truck.  I woke up to some old man yelling, "Don't be a pussy.  Get that thing in there."  They were changing the brake pad without taking the rotor off even though Paul specifically said to do that.

I took a site seeing cruise of 4 of the lakes.

When I got back everyone (minus Carol) was there to spread Cathy's and June's ashes.  Y'all if I get cremated and someone spreads my ashes, I hope it is not as loveless as this was.  No one really cared.  Nothing was said.  They just dumped the ashes.  I think it would have been better if it had just been Mo and Pat.  OH!  I forgot to mention!  When we picked up June's ashes from the funeral home.  It was soooo heavy.  I put her in the truck and told her.  "Well all of this time you commented on people's weight and now it is your turn to be heavy."  Mo just laughed.  I am going to go to hell for that.

It was our last night.  We were in the trailer with Pat and Jason just watching TV.  Mo had looked for her mother's stuff several times during the course of our time there.  She had PJ put two tables in the truck that were supposed to go home with us.  She also grabbed a clock that Pat said, "No one would miss".

All of the sudden Carol is outside the door yelling, "I don't mind if you take your mom's stuff, but you could at least ask before you take mine."  Mo had no idea what she was talking about.  Pat asked her like 5 times, "What are you talking about?"  She spouted off some more stuff.  "I was gone for 2 hours and my house has been ransacked."  Blah blah blah.

Tangent---I forgot to tell you but there marriage is a loveless marriage.  They don't talk to each other at all, and they are just staying together until PJ is 18.  PJ has already said he would stay with his dad, and trust me Pat wouldn't want/need any money from her to help support the kids.  She doesn't help anyway.  PJ works 70 hours a week.  He make 600 bucks a week because he hates being at home so much that he would rather work.  All of the kids work at least 2 jobs.  They all seemed so miserable.

Carol finally leaves.  Jason looks over at us and says, "My mom is crazy!"  Pat says, "What did you take?"  Mo tells him.  He says, "I was kidding about the clock."  Mo thought it was her mom's.  She said, "I was just going to give it to one of the kids. I didn't want it."  She tells Jason to go get the clock out of the truck and give it back to her and tell her she was sorry.  Carol also said that there was 60 dollars missing that she had put in one of the tables.  Luckily, Pat and Jason had opened the drawer looking for something else earlier in the day and knew it was not in there.  Obviously a long conversation takes place about how nuts she is.  During that time Carole begins to sling things into the camper that she thinks Mo might want.  Finally someone actually begins to show her where her mother's stuff is even if it was in a terrible way.

Anyway.  We finally left the next day.  YAY!  We had to find a grocery store before we officially hit the road.  There are absolutely no fast food places or grocery stores in 99% of the towns we drove through.  We found one grabbed the italian sausage that she just had to get and hopped back on the road.  We drove and drove and drove and talked  and talked.  We stopped to eat in PA.  She wanted to sit down and eat.  I just wanted to grab some fast food and stay on the road.  We drove straight through after that.  I passed out once we got home.  Mo pretty much slept the whole way, so when she got home she was wide awake.  She didn't understand why she couldn't sleep when she got home.  Hmmmmm I wonder.

I was so thankful to see Jack that afternoon.  I was so ready to just go home and take a shower.

Old Forge Trip Take 3

The next morning I woke up to Mo trying to get out of the camper.  She was freaking out.  She could not get the door open.  I guess I was successful on getting it completely shut.  I tried to open it, and I couldn't get it.  She was searching for another way out.  I mean she was freaking out.  I, on the other hand, was trying to think of some I had that I could use as a flat head screw driver.  I opened up my make up bag (I knew I brought that bag for something) and pulled out a skin tool that I have.  I proceeded to unscrew the door knob thing.  I pulled the piece off and found the actual ugly lever for the door, and I opened that baby up!  That is right!  I MacGuyvered us out of there!  Mo was so relieved, and we now have a good inside joke.

We went out walking around the town.  But first my mother in law had to have her morning beer.  Yeah.  Crazy I know, but even crazier was when she took the beer can, put it into my styrofoam cup, and drank it that way.  One of the places we stopped was a museum that has a changing exhibit.  Mo didn't understand the changing exhibit thing.  She wanted to know why they didn't have any pictures of her father and grandfather in there (they were bigshots in town).  They were doing an exhibit on the mail boat.  She left, and I continued to look around.

When we got back to the house, Mo had to contact the funeral home about her mother's ashes.  Apparently no one knew where they were.  That was the whole reason for being there.  The funeral home said that no one had contacted them to pick up the ashes.  They had no idea where they were.  It took them like 3 hours to find them.  They had put them in storage.  We could meet them at the funeral home in Old Forge that afternoon to get them.  FINALLY!

We hung out at the house (outside never inside) that day for a little while.  Mandy had on a ring.  It was a ring that Mo's mother had given to Mo and then 40 years later asked for it back to give to Mandy.  Yeah.  Indian giver.  This wasn't a ring that Mo never wore.  It was one that she wore every day.  She reluctantly sent it to her mother who gave it to Mandy.  The last time Mo was up there Mandy was not wearing it, and Mo asked her about it.  She had no idea what Mo was talking about, but mysteriously this time she knew all about it.  She even told the us whose ring it had been and blah blah blah.  She knew the whole story.  Mo was so pissed.  She just knew that Carol told Mandy to put the ring on and make sure to wear it around her.  I would like to iterate that I only saw Carol like 2 or 3 times the whole time I was there, and she was in no way friendly.

NY trip Take 2

We got to Pat's house (that is Mo's brother).  I was introduced to him and his daughter Mandy.  They seemed pretty nice.  Pat's wife (Carol) came down, and I was introduced to her.  I said, "Hi" she just looked at me and went back to what she was doing.  Can you see where this is going?

At some point the two sons came home, and I was introduced to them.  Pat told Mandy to take me on a canoe ride, and he was going to get dinner.  What kind of canoe ride would it be if someone didn't almost tip the canoe over ::points at self::?  Getting in and getting out.  It was an ok time I guess.  I was just trying to get a conversation going.  I was kind of successful.

When we got back, we ate.  Mo and I decided to drive around town, so I could see everything.  At this point we realize that the truck is making a sound.  I just know that it is the brakes.  (Someone supposedly looked at the truck to make sure everything was in good working order)  We drove back to the house and spoke to Pat about it.  The auto shop in town was closed for two weeks.  Jason (one of the sons) said he knew someone that would come and look at it.

Mo wanted to go to the casino that night.  Her brother said we could take his truck, since ours was acting up.  This was when he informed us that my way of driving there was quicker because that was the way to the casino.  We went to the casino.  I decided to valet the truck, so that we could just walk straight into the casino vs. searching for a parking spot.  Mo did not understand how valets work.  She thought they were going to steal the truck.  Then she thought they were going to park it, and we wouldn't know where they parked it.  Y'all my mother in law does not get out much.  I FINALLY convinced her to let me valet it.  Just trust me.

Mo lost way too much money.  I would like to state for the record that I told her to stop.  I lost some money too, but not near as much as her.  We went outside and get this!  We could not remember if the truck we were in had a camper or not and stood there like idiots for 5 minutes waiting on a truck that was 100 feet away.  Thankfully we had used the valet because we really would have never found the truck.

When we got back, we got settled in for the night in the camper that they have.  We chit chatted about Mo getting some of her mother's stuff.  We also talked about Carol and that she was the reason Mo wanted to stay in the camper this time vs. in the house.

Trust me in no way did I feel welcome at this house.  I had to ask where the bathroom was.  There were no towels and no one ever offered any.  I reeked of smoke and all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to sleep.

I shut the front door of the camper, turned the TV on that thankfully had cable hooked up to it, and fell asleep.

NY Trip Take 1

I am forcing myself to blog before catching up on any of y'alls' blogs.  It will be my reward.

Let's go back a month to my crazy ass trip to Old Forge, NY.

The day I was supposed to leave for my trip I worked all day!  This of course means that I had a customer who would not freakin' leave my store.  I had my cashier bug the crap out of them to get them out of the store.  It was so bad that we turned the lights out on her.  Yeah.

I got home finished getting the rest of my stuff that I needed.  I had packed everything else that morning before I went to work, and Jack and I left to go to his mom's house.  We got there, and his mom was not even ready to go.  She was just starting to put what she was taking into the truck.  She took so much crap!  She had like 3 bags for her clothes.  She also had a bag and a cooler that had a ton of food in it that I knew that we would never eat because A. there was way too much  B. I don't eat too much while travelling and C. She made sandwiches that I hate.  Egg Salad sandwich?!  No thank you!

Jack was so emotional before we left.  He didn't want us to go.  He wishes that we would have flown.  blah blah blah.  He left before we did.  We finally left around 8.  We drove and drove and talked and talked.  My mother in law flipped out everytime a tractor trailer drove remotely close to us.  She had to have the window down the ENTIRE FREAKIN' time we were in the truck.  FYI: I hate having a window down on the interstate.  Oh and the chain smoking oh how I hate cigarette smoke!  We drove through TN and KY without stopping pretty much.  We did stop when I accidentally went the wrong direction at the bridge from KY over to OH.  We wound up in IN for a second.  Just long enough for us to do the bathroom thing and for my mother-in-law to buy scratch off tickets.  She, of course, didn't realize that she had won until we were already in OH.

A couple of the conversations we had in the car...  Her being sick because my sister in law (yep the one who puts her kid off on everyone else) dropped off Rio at the house and told her that he would only be there for 2 hours and instead wound up being there for 12.  That's quite a difference.  She was so pissed because Paul was sick and her sister was over there and the obvious.  Apparently my BIL's mom was supposed to come and get him, but when she got there she told Mo that she had told my SIL and BIL that she had things to do and that she could not watch Rio that day.  This comes as no surprise to me that they lied to get someone to watch their kid.  My BIL's mom said that, "People are talking because they never have their kid with them."  Really?!  Who woulda thought?

Another conversation was her talking about trying weed.  Yep.  My mother in law tried the ganja, and she liked it.  She told me that it was the best she had felt in a long time.  This whole time she has sworn up and down that she had never tried it.  She was scared to because her brother tried it once and was allergic to it.  Blah blah.  She tried it and I thought it was hilarious.

Oh and the conversations consisted of questions, I am sure, because that woman asks WAY too many questions.  She asked me several times if I was sure we were going the right way.  I had to repeat several times.  Yes, this is the way Google Maps said to go.  What does lane shift mean?  <---This is number 225 of why I would not let that woman drive.

Ok, so back to driving.  We got into OH.  We drove until Columbus and decided to find a hotel to stay in.  This was a bad idea.  We stopped at probably 10 hotels/motels (whatever) every one was booked.  Well except for one.  This creepy fat guy said they had rooms, but it would be 170 dollars?!  Um no thanks, we
would only be there for maybe 5 hours.  OH AND! We stopped at a Motel 6.  The lady at the counter says that have no vacancies.  THEN!  She pulls Mo to the side and says, "If you have cash, we have maintenance rooms."  Mo says, "What is a maintenance room?"  "Oh you know.  It could have bugs or other maintenance problems."  Mo said, "No that's ok."  Needless to say after all of this craziness we decided to keep driving.  I wound up getting extremely tired and just pulled off at a rest area.  I was thinking roll the windows up keep the truck on, and go to sleep.  Hahaha.  Yeah right.  My mother in law rolled her window down ALL the way because she "couldn't breath" (maybe if you wouldn't chain smoke you could).  I could barely sleep out of the paranoia of someone trying to take something or worse.  When it got light outside, we got moving again.

I love driving on the thruway in New York.  It was fantastic!  It is a toll road, so you get your ticket at the beginning, and you just drive.  There are AWESOME rest areas along the way.  1. They are huge 2. There is always a gas station. 3.  There is at least 2 restaurants.  4.  Drum roll please!.....The bathrooms are spotless!  They are so well taken care of!

We finally get off of the exit that Google Maps is telling me to get off of, and Mo proceeds to asks me continuously, "Why are we going this way?  This is the long way.  We should have gone ......  it would have been faster."  I just kept saying, "It is saying this way is faster."  Fast forward to the future really quickly and her brother agreed with me.

We FINALLY got there!  YAY!  Old Forge, NY and Adirondack Mountains I was finally there, but where the hell were the mountains?!  I have no idea.  I don't know what everyone was talking about.  It didn't look very mountainous to me but whatever.

Promise I will blog soon!  I am having lunch with Misty tomorrow, and I wanna make sure I can bitch to her about it knowing that she knows nothing about it!

On a side note, I have another freakin' meeting with my boss!  What the hell?!  He hasn't even been in my store.  What the hell did I do this time?

Tuesday, August 9, 2011

I promise I will blog soon!  My trip is something to be written about.  TRUST ME!

Saturday, July 30, 2011

Bring me a higher love!  That song is going to be in my head for the rest of the night.

I cannot believe I am saying this, BUT  I am actually going to New York.  I totally didn't think it was going to happen, but apparently I am going!  I am not packed.  I need to do laundry tonight and pack tonight.  I have to work all day tomorrow and then we leave.  Honestly, it seems a little surreal.  I really don't want to drive at night, but Jack's mom wants to make it there by the 1st.  Either way we weren't getting there until the afternoon so oh well.  You know me, I will try to take pictures the whole way there.  This is partly why I don't want to drive at night.  I want pictures of the "Welcome to Kentucky/Ohio/Pennsylvania/New York" signs.  I also want to be able to see things that I want to stop at on the way back.

Hopefully I will be able to blog on my trip, but I am not 100% sure my hubby will let me take the laptop with me.  It might be hit or miss being able to use Mo's.

Friday, July 29, 2011

I am so freakin' tired.

I am 98% sure I am leaving for New York whenever I get off of work on Sunday!  YAY!  Everything came through!  Now as long as my shift supervisor doesn't come in tomorrow and tell me her husband is having surgery next week, I will be travelling to NY!  YAY!  I am hoping that I can get someone to work on Sunday that wants the hours.  We shall see, but I doubt I will find anyone.

I feel like such an old fogie (my attempt at making up a spelling to a slang word).  I am totally about to go to bed.

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

Did ya miss me yesterday?  I totally forgot to post.  It was an uneventful day.  I woke up, watched TV, Jack came home for lunch, I took him back to work, I came home and shot the realtor some MLS numbers, I went to my mom's house, I got Jack from work, and we went home.

I have officially printed all of this junk, so I can send it to the morgage guy tomorrow.  Hopefully what I printed will work.  I called to get them to send me the information, but apparently they want me to write a letter to get the info.  Really?!  Anyways keep your fingers crossed that I get it!

I have a list of houses that I am going to go see on Thursday.  I should say..hopefully going to see on Thursday.  I mean if the morgage guy says no then that will be off the table.  I will be searching for an apartment.  Ugh!  I need to stop these negative thoughts!  I will get this loan.  I will get this loan.  The interest rate may be a little higher than I want, but I will get this loan.  My debt to income ratio is fantastic.  There is no reason I should not get this loan, and if I don't, I'll go to the next morgage company (I keep forgetting I can do that!)

I totally cannot think of anything else to say.

We went looking at open houses again today!  Guess what?  They were actually open!  I did not make the same mistake twice.  We looked at 3 houses today.  One in Lavergne(1245912), one in Smyrna(1254106), and one in Nashville(1275934).

The one in Lavergne was a definite no.
Smyrna was a maybe.
Nashville is the one Jack really likes.  I honestly think that it is only because its awesome man cave possibilities.  Honestly I like it too, BUT it is in a crappy part of Nashville....Elysian Fields very close to the zoo.  I don't know I guess the area could get better.  It only has one bathroom and the kitchen is tiny.  It does have an awesome finished basement.  It even has a freakin' wet bar downstairs.  Total awesomeness, but alas that bathroom thing.  I totally couldn't handle it.  Jack did mention that we could always purchase the house and put a bathroom downstairs.  Ehhhhh I don't think so.

We shall continue to look.  I added the two that we like to the "like" list.

Jack finally decided that the house near Chris and Melinda's would be to small for the price the people were asking.  I keep telling him.  Elk Dr.  There is one on Elk we really need to look at, and then he saw another that he wants to look at on the same street, so HOPEFULLY we will be totally pre-approved by tomorrow, and I can tell our realtor to look into the houses for us!  Eek!

Saturday, July 23, 2011

Soo if you read Misty's comment on my last blog.... she was right.....unfortunately the utilities are not in my name, so the morgage guy says I need to get at least 3 bills that are in my name and get print outs for them and hopefully they will be able to take that.  If they do, we are good for 150k....<---seriously?  With just what I make?  I, of course, am looking for a house under that anyways.  FINGERS crossed everything is good because I TOTALLY have a few houses that I really like and want to go look at soon!

We went to a few open houses today...that were not open today.  Fail on my part.  Jack got his panties in a twist..ok so not really..he is the most laid back guy you will ever meet depending upon the situation.  He did torture me about it all day long!  We did get to go into 2 houses.  The first was just a fluke.  It was way too expensive.  The second we went in and walked around.  Jack loved it.  Don't get me wrong it was nice, BUT the layout made the house seem really small even though it was 1700 square feet AND the yard.. um ...no...the backyard was literally the size of the pool that was in it.  It is on Boyd Dr. in Murfreesboro if anyone wants to look it up!

Friday, July 22, 2011

Just talked to the morgage guy.  Get this guys....I have a zero FICO score....<---well duh!  I am debt freeeeeeeeeeeee.  :)  The loan (fingers crossed) is only going to be able to be in my name.  I make more money than I realized.  I just looked at my year to date and thought it was wrong.  Unfortunatly since I have a zero FICO score, the guy is trying to figure something out for me.

TRUE STORY!

My husband gets home from work and starts walking towards the house.  He thinks, "Oh there is a cute little bunny on the front porch."  He walks closer.....It is a freakin' rat!  Can you say gross?

This blog post infuriates me!  Ugh!
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fdrugmonkey.blogspot.com%2F2011%2F07%2Fmary-sammons-given-award-for-some.html&h=NAQALubKJ
Well my meeting didn't go badly.  He gave me a list things he wanted me to do, showed me the pictures that he had taken, and basically told me that he didn't think my shift supervisors are working to their full potential.  Blah, blah, blah.

I got stuck working all day again today! BLOWS!  Karen called me on her way to work in a panic.  She had to call 911 to come get her because she felt that bad.  She thought she was having a heart attack driving down the road.  They ran tests on her and told her she was probably just experiencing anxiety attacks.  Thankfully she will be at work tomorrow!  I am entirely greatful.  I am going to TRY to leave work early tomorrow.  Oh I hope I can convince myself to do that.  After my list I got, ehhh we will see.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

OMfreakinG.  Really?!  Are you effin' kidding me?  I left work about an hour early today, since I worked ALL day yesterday.  What happens after I leave?  My freakin' boss comes in.  Apparently he was not happy.  Well of course not!  I am not either!  I have freakin' been there by myself for the past 3 days.  So tomorrow I get to go to his office.  No doubt I am getting written up.  One of my shift supervisors said, "I was going to tell him that you had been here by yourself for the past few days, but he walked out with out saying anything."  Sucks!  I'll let you know.

Monday, July 18, 2011

I just had to re-read Misty's comment about Adam's cousin getting a house.  I just started flipping out again about getting a loan.  Jack and I desperately have to be off at the same time to talk to this loan guy.  I am getting so antsy.  I just want to know if we can get a loan!  Ugh!  Then I can know that the houses I am dreaming about are a possibility.  I totally don't want to live in an apartment again.  OMG I don't think I could take it.
You know how my last blog started with what I love about my job....Well you know what I hate about my job?  Getting stuck working open to close because someone is freakin' sick.  Oh did I mention I had no freakin' cashier at all on Sunday ( I was expecting that) and today I didn't have a cashier until 4.  It sucks.  I got nothing accomplished.

I have to be back there at 7:30 in the morning.  ugh

Saturday, July 16, 2011

You know what I love?  Leaving work early.  Yep.  I left early today, and my husband drug me around EVERYWHERE!  Ugh!  I was so exhausted at one point.  I finally demanded that we go home.  I immediately got in the bed and slept for 3 hours.  Now I am wide awake at 1:30 in the morning.  Sucks.

I cannot freakin' believe that in 2 weeks at this time I will not be able to sleep due to excitement about going to New York.  It is so close and coming so quickly.

I have to work all by myself tomorrow.  That really blows, but that is what having absolutely no payroll will do to you.

Here are the houses in Rutherford County that I like...

--1290583 (Smyrna)  <---The one Misty told me about.  I really do love it!  I really love those french doors!

--1215351 ss<--Short Sale.  This one is very unlikely, but I like it nonetheless.

--1285944(Smyrna)<---The one down the road from Chris and Melinda's.

--1269857 Short Sale.

/1288837<--I kind of like this one.

--1272152(M'boro)

--1289731 (M'boro)

We called the guy at the bank today.  He must have been at lunch, so we still haven't gotten that taken care of yet.  Ugh! I am so ready!

We went to see the last Harry Potter today.  They give you Harry Potter glasses if you watch it in 3D.

Ummm I went to the bank and to *gasp* Walmart.  I had to return *ehhh* something.  Yes, that means I have actually walk inside of a Walmart twice this month.  I can count on my hands how many times I have been to Walmart in the past year.

Sooooo hopefully we will finally be able to call tomorrow/technically today to get pre-approved for a house.  I will then really know what price range we are looking at.  Do ya'll want me to bombard you with houses that I like/love?  Here is one that keeps coming back up over and over again...

http://www.realtracs.com/MediaDisplay.aspx?PropertyClass=RES&DMQL=(AreaID%3d%7c25)%2c(ListingStatusID%3d1)%2c(OfficeListIsActive%3d1)%2c(IsListedOnInternet%3d1)&AreaID=25&MlsNum=1251626&Digest=OYroUHT+X418MM9PNB3wMw

It has a lot of the things that I want.
--decent size yard
--garage (this is Jack's request)
--something that can be used as a man cave (Jack's other request)
--at least 3 bed/2 bath
--the master bedroom is actually larger than the other rooms.

I am iffy on the kitchen.
It is a really long drive for Jack to work.  45 minutes long plus traffic~ only 25 for me

Does anyone else occasionally find themselves watching the "new" Unsolved Mysteries?  I mean why the crap did they just take the same stories and same video from the original and add a new host?  Could they not have found more stories to put on there?  I mean people LOVED that show!  I would still watch the reruns, hence why I catch myself watching the "new" Unsolved Mysteries.

OH! I forgot to tell ya'll!  I tried the new Sally Hansen Crackle!  See picture below!

It does infact work, but there is a trick to it.  Number one see the yellow color (Insta-dri Lightening<--yes it is spelled that way.)?  That is the bottom coat.  Make sure it dries completely!  Number 2 when you put on the Crackle nail color (black), [the brush is way too small] make sure you do sections as you paint OR even better try to get the brush out of an Insta-dri nail polish.  If you don't do this, you may feel like you didn't get enough crackle nail polish on your nail.  You may think that you can immediately go back over the nail before it dries to fix this problem, right?  WRONG!  Just say no.  Take my advice and go in sections.  It does turn out really cool.  And lastly number 3 don't be a dumb butt like me and forget to put a top coat on it.  Mine just peeled off.  BOO!

I love being able to just leave work when I want to.  I mean I work 45 hours a week but being able to just leave whenever.  It is sweet.  Jack really really wanted to go to the Skate of the Union tonight, so I took off of work early to take him.  I was going to go too, but I changed my mind.  I didn't want him to miss the autograph line, so I kicked him out on the side of the road.

You heifers need to get on Google+.  Mine is totally boring right now!  Imagine Facebook with 3 friends.  Yeah.  It would suck!  I will send you an invite!  Just let me know by posting your e-mail address here or sending me a message in Facebook.

We dropped Gizmo off at Jack's mom's house today.  We stayed a while to get him adjusted and slipped out without him noticing.  He was following Jack every time he thought we were leaving.  Gizmo is currently in Paul's lap chillin'.  Paul was very excited about the puppy dog.  He has been really missing Sissy who passed away a couple of months ago.  YAY for a new dog (as long as know one claims him)!  Maybe now I can convince Paul that Mo needs a new refrigerator come the time Jack and I get into a house!  EEK!  Hers is fairly new, but you remember the washer and dryer....ya never know!

Work was a total bore today.  I was exhausted!  Ugh!  I had no sleep because I was up all night long thinking about houses and that dog.  Tomorrow is truck day, so I will have to be all hyped up on caffeine.
So there I was looking through my Facebook "news".......My initial thought was, "Why on Earth did this person put their cankles and ugly toenails on Facebook?"  Then I looked to see who it was ..my niece!  It is her little baby feet.  Insert foot into mouth.  :)

I currently have someone else's dog lying next to me.  It just breaks my heart that someone is desperately searching for their dog.  Ugh.  Ok so maybe they aren't desperately searching.  I looked on craigslist and petfinder, and no one has posted a lost dog ad nearby.  This little dog is so freakin' cute!

Let's see..... I shall go back to my previous post regarding my Pop passing away.  The funeral was beautiful.  The minister talked a lot about fishing and baseball.  Pop would have liked that.  Those were his favorite things.  He could tell you any stat you could think of regarding Braves baseball and more.  He was able to go fishing one last time.  He bugged the shit out of those Trevecca people to take them fishing.  They finally did about a week before he passed.  The ladies at Trevecca said that he had been talking a lot about my Granny.  I love that.  Honestly, he talked about her like she was still here all of the time.  Now that I have lived in this house, I understand why.  She has always been here, but I haven't felt her hear since Pop passed.  I just wonder if we wait on the people we love to meet us.  I was entirely greatful for all of the stories that I heard at the funeral and for all of the people that I got to see again.  At one point a lady came in the funeral home and I said hi to her.  She said that she wasn't sure what he looked like, but she was looking for Tom's son.  I told her, "I'm his daughter, so I can point you in the right direction."  When she got to my dad she asked him if he knew who she was.  It was my Granny's best friend.  Ok.  I had been pretty dry eyed until this lady said that.  I literally had to run out of the room to compose myself.  My Granny's death hit me the hardest out of all of my grandparents.  I was a freshman in high school, and I watched her go downhill.  I remember the doctor's telling us she only had 2 weeks, and she made it 8 weeks.  I remember "reading" a Cathy comic strip when my mom told her that the doctor said she didn't have much longer.  I saw the tear streak down her face.  I cried and cried and still cry when I think of her today.  I wish Jack would have met her.  He would have loved her just as much as he loved my Pop.  He was very torn up about Pop's death too.  He said that Pop was the closest thing he had ever had to a grandparent.

Ok so we shall now move to something else....  Where the hell are Jack and I going to live?!  OMG!  The state is going to take the house!  Holy Shit!  We have to move.  I have been looking at houses online, but we have to try to get preapproved first.  I hope and pray that we do.  I found a house out in Pegram I REALLY want to look at.  It is on 5 acres and in short sale.  It is the right size for a family.  **Thinking about future kiddos.**  It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.  That is totally bigger than I am really planning, but get this....119,000....I know right?!  5 acres, 4 bedrooms, and 3 baths.  Yeah.  I am just wondering what is the catch.  What is wrong with this house?  It says Short Sale price approved by the bank.  Does that mean it is not approved yet, or the price it is listed for is the price the bank approved?  Is there no driveway to get to the house?  Ummm are some of the rooms totally demolished?  Here is the link  http://www.realtracs.com/PropertyDetail.aspx?PropertyClass=RES&DMQL=(AreaID%3d%7c13)%2c(NumOfStories%3d2%2b)%2c(TotalBedrooms%3d4%2b)%2c(TotalFullBaths%3d3%2b)%2c(ListingStatusID%3d1)%2c(OfficeListIsActive%3d1)%2c(IsListedOnInternet%3d1)&AreaID=13&MlsNum=1228885&Digest=mn8bzxzaPt3iAZKN0iPl9A   You should be able to look at it there...If not, google 4490 Sears Rd. Pegram.

No matter what I am going to keep looking.  I need to be able to make that phone call regarding the pre-approval with Jack soon though.  We really don't have much time.  Ehh.  Pray if you are the praying kind.  Pray hard.  My cousin just got pre-approved for a loan that and I quote, "was much more than [she] could have ever imagined."  So I am hoping that is a good sign for me, since she just started her job and I have been with mine for 11 years.  Oh please oh please oh please.  This is one of those times that you need to reassure me with a "My fuck up (insert friend/relative) (insert name) bought a house.  Only God knows how." stories.  Please and thank you.

I just found out that my Pop passed away.  I haven't really gotten emotional about it yet.  I just don't know.

I cried tears of joy in the shower because I thought about him and my Granny being back together.  Even thought she passed 12 years ago, he still talked about her like she was still here.

I worked all fucking day by myself.  ALL DAY LONG!  It fucking sucked!  I was entirely thankful that I actually had a pharmacist because I didn't think I was going to.  My pharmacist put his foot down and informed his boss that he wouldn't be working at all over the weekend because he had to go out of town.

I got to work this morning and the only sale signs that they put up after I left was like 2 aisles!  REALLY?!  They knew I would be by myself most of the day, and they didn't even get most of the signs done.  I am going to have to finish them Monday because I wasn't able to touch them at all thanks to having no cashier.

Well crap in a hat!

When that big storm came through, I was doing the dishes and I heard a loud pop then the electricity went out.  It scared the crap out of me.  That pop was so loud!  Anyway I gave up on the power ever coming back on, so I took a nap.  I woke up when Jack came home.  We went out to eat, since we still had no power.  When we got back, we attempted to watch TV.  The tv would turn on, but the Directv box wouldn't even power on.  The PS3 wasn't being seen by the tv.  Our new monitor for the Mac Mini is dead, and I am praying that the Mac Mini is ok.  We haven't been able to hook it up to anything yet to see if it is ok.  Thankfully the laptop was not plugged in to anything.  If you are wondering if we had our stuff in surge protectors, they were... well all except for the monitor.  SUCKS!  Just add that to the list of things that have happened this year.  I am just waiting to find something else that doesn't work.

For now, we have bought a new tv.  I am going to call the insurance company tomorrow.  Thank God for renters insurance.

Perhaps ya'll are wondering about the outcome from the other night....maybe not.  Here it is anyways!

Apparently, my brother in law did not go home the other night.  He went to McDonald's, got something to eat, came back, and fell immediately asleep.....in his car. By immediately, I mean that when I went to his car the next morning to wake him up and send him inside, his food had not been touched.

They did their oh I'm so sorrys, and they are currently in the living room watching tv.  Jack felt horrible about what happened, and he won't shut up about it.  We actually didn't go to the CMA Fest stuff on Saturday because he felt so guilty and I quote, "didn't deserve to go."  So we just hung out around the house.

Yesterday, I went to work even though it was my day off just to make sure everything was ready for inventory.  When I left there was maybe 3 things to do, but they still freaked out about doing it.  I don't understand why.  I said, "If you don't think you are going to get something finished, just call me and I will come back up here.  Not a big deal.  I just need to go to my mother-in-law's house to help her for a little while."  I of course got a message that they didn't think they were going to get everything finished.  I went up there to double check everything after the store closed.

Inventory is OVER!  YAY!  The person I speak of in the previous paragraph (don't wanna violate those "social networking" rules established by my employer -that also can't be named), told me today that she didn't ever want to have to do inventory prep again.  I almost said, "Remember that next year when I take you off of the schedule for a month" but I didn't.  Apparently she didn't catch that we have been prepping for inventory for the whole month, and she did barely any of it and just felt rushed yesterday.  All she really needed to do yesterday besides a box up was straighten.  I honestly don't even think that she finished the aisles that I assigned to her.  This is when I say I did most of the inventory prep.  I did the aisles that I had assigned to myself, and then did several other people's aisles to help them be where they needed to be.  What can I say?  The work of a manager goes unnoticed.  They probably think that I do nothing and leave it all to them.  Hahahaha  I just think that they are used to the store manager doing all of the inventory prep and leaving them out of the equation.  Not this one.  You won't see me staying the night before inventory until 4 in the morning to make sure everything is done.  It can be finished waaaaaaay before if everyone does their fucking job.  Ok...I think I am finished venting now.  That just really pissed me off.

Sooo it has been officially decided that I am going to Old Forge, NY with my mother-in-law the first week in August!  EEK!  I am so excited!  I think we have decided to drive.  We were originally planning on flying, but I researched taking an urn on board a plane.  The ashes have to be in a airline approved urn, so now Mo wants to drive because she doesn't want to have to deal with that.  I told her that we could take 2 days to get there that way if she needs to stop we can.  I think I am going to try to rent a car for this trip, so we are the most comfy.  If you know anybody who can hook me up, let me know.  The rental has to be an actual unlimited miles vehicle.  A lot of them say unlimited miles, but it is up to a certain mileage.  I am soooo excited!  Niagara Falls is finally in my future!  I just wish my hubby were going with me!

Ugh!  Well...I thought I was getting a few hours of sleep tonight/day.  Jack and his brother went downtown to the CMA stuff.  I dropped them off.  I knew they would need a ride home, but by one o'clock I figured they would give up on me and call a cab.  Yeah..no.  I got a call at 2:45 from Pat saying, "Jenn, you have to come get us.  I think Jack is going to get arrested."  He tells me where they are, and I of course have no idea how to get there.  I just get in my car.  I was so pissed.  Ugh!  I haven't had to deal with an intoxicated husband, since......before the Christmas that he punched the cop, so over a year and 5 months ago.  I really didn't want to see that asshole again.  When I made it to where they were (by the grace of God), Jack was on a corner doing what you ask...talking to a fucking police officer in one of those van things....I pull over immediately, and yell, "Jack get in the fucking car now!"  He says, "Hang on I gotta get Pat."  I yell, "I will get him.  You get in the fucking car now!  NOW!!!!!!!!"  At which point, (Thank you God) the police pull away realizing that I am there to get him.  They both finally get in the car and immediately start yelling at each other.  I mean YELLING!  It was ridiculous!  I was trying to yell at them to shut the hell up, and I wasn't loud enough.  I mean how many times can I say, "This is my car, and I am the one driving!  Shut the hell up!"  Oh but did it just stop at there?  Oh no they got into a fight in my fucking car!  I mean full on fist fight.  I was praying that no one would hit me.  Thankfully no one did, but Pat put Jack in a choke hold or something saying, "I'm just holding him down.  He needs to calm down."  They both needed to calm the fuck down and go to sleep!  I drove all the way home, and they were still yelling and trying to swing.  I drove around the neighborhood twice trying to get their attention.  My car was not being stopped until they shut up.  I'll be damned if someone calls the cops on us at my Granny and Pop's house.  I would have just DIED!  The people who live on this road have been here FOREVER.  I guess my only hope would be that they would all be so hearing impaired that they couldn't hear.  At one point, I stopped at a stop sign and Jack hopped out of the car and proceeded to hit my car window (?!) to try to get to Pat.  Did I mention he was belligerently drunk? I told him, "If you break my car window, I swear to God.  I am going to drive you to your mama's house, and you can sleep there tonight!"  He finally got in the car.  We made it back to the house with the "quiet rule" in place...until my door opened, and I guess they thought that once I was out of the car that I would be able to hear them.  They start yelling at each other again!  They got in a fight in the front yard ya'll!  Oh my God.  Seriously?!  What the hell!  It took me 15 minutes to get Jack inside the house and to sit down and another 15 to make him stay sitting, so he would magically fall asleep.  Ahhhhh  now that is the trick!  Make him fall asleep.  I fanned him until he fell fast asleep like a baby at which point his brother knocks on the front door.  I swear I didn't lock him out ya'll.  He said he was going to stay outside for a while.  Anyway.  He knocks on the door and informs me he is going home...um no.   "Pat you aren't going anywhere.  You are drunk."  He tries to convince me otherwise.  I tell him that there are 3 times as many cops out because of the CMA fest, and he isn't going anywhere.  I unfortunately was not able to stop him.  He got all of his shit together.  I thought he was going to finally just go lay down.  Then he went out to his car and sat there was like  20 minutes.  I kept watching out the window.  (He scares me when he drinks.  Jack becomes ridiculously lovey dovey makes you wanna punch him in the face.  Pat becomes asshole makes you wanna punch him in the face.)  I looked out there at some point, and he and his brand new car that he just bought yesterday are gone.  I am praying that he makes it home a. without hitting someone and possibly killing them or himself.  b.  without falling asleep at the wheel and c. without being pulled over by the cops and put in jail for dui.  Ehhhh scratch that.  I hate to say it, but I wish he would get pulled over.  I think it would be a good lesson for him.  AND out of the three options that is the one I would obviously go with if I had to choose one.  Anyway.  I called Mo.  I was surprised that she was asleep.  She is usually a night owl, but she said she had actually fallen asleep at 1.  I just really wanted her to know that Pat was coming home and to watch for him.  Now she too is wide awake.<---I feel bad.  Like I said, I was expecting her to be wide awake.  Anyway.  Now I am going to lie down and attempt to get 2 hours of sleep.

How many of you have hit a parked car?  Yeah, me either!

I was at work the other night, and I went out to grab my coupons out of my car.  People were standing around my car just looking at it.  I walked out there, and one of the guys who works at Compton's (if you are wondering...yeah my store IS in a shitty neighborhood.  I mean the grocery store is called Compton's) asks, "Hey this is your car right?"  "Yep."  "Someone hit your car!"  "Oh no I got hit a long time ago, that is why my bumper hangs a little funny."  This other guy who witnessed the accident, "Oh no honey, you need to come around here and look at the side!"  OMG ya'll someone hit my parked car!  My passenger rear door is dented/bent all to hell!  Thankfully the guy was still there.  He admitted that he did it and gave me all of his information.

Now if I could get his wife to quit freakin' calling me?!  I don't understand why she does not understand to just let the insurance company to take care of it.  She is all concerned about my car getting fixed!  Ya'll I don't have time to deal with that crap right now!  I have inventory next week, and I am totally not thinking about my car that is drivable.  I can wait a couple of weeks to get it fixed.  I mean I AM totally looking forward to driving a rental car!  YAY!  OH and the body place is going to fix my bumper too!  :)

Back to me having inventory next week....I had my little brother come run the register at my store today and do a few other things for me while Karen and I worked on the stockroom.  My little brother is hard worker!  He told me that he liked working at my store because he could do more than just stand at the front.  Believe me ya'll he did A LOT so much infact that Karen asked when we could have him come back.  Haha.
WOW!

One bright early morning in May when I was supposed to be sleeping in, my husband wakes me up in a panic, "Jenn, Jenn, I think I have something in my eye!  Come look!"  I sleepily go into the bathroom to have a look (honestly not caring too much).  I see a white dot and tell him it is probably nothing, and he just needs to go to work.  He leaves to go to work, I go back to sleep, he arrives back at the house 10 minutes later. I should remind you he only works 3 minutes away.  He says, "I have to find an eye doctor right now and go!"  His work saw his eye and immediately sent him home in fear of him having metal in his eye.  My husband is trying to call eye doctors at 7:30 in the morning freaking out that no one is answering.  I have to remind him that doctor's offices are not generally open that early.  I convinced him to wait until 8.  He found a doctor in Green Hills, and they squeezed him in immediately.  We got there and filled out all of his paperwork.  He went back to see the doctor by himself....I would have gone back with him if I had to do it all over again.  When he comes out, she says, "Ok we'll see you tomorrow."  Ummmm what?!  Tomorrow?  Let's say it again, WHAT?!  Another appointment?  She gave him a sample of the drops he needed and gave him a script for that and another medication.  The girl at the front desk says, "Oh that is a hard one to find!  I will help you find a pharmacy that has it." Ya'll it took us 30 minutes of calling around to FINALLY find someone that had it!  Oh did I mention that I still have no idea what the hell is going on?!  We finally leave the doctor's office, and I look at Jack and say, "So...what did she say."  He starts panicking, "I have an ulcer on my eye.  I think it is really bad too."  We go get the prescription filled.  It is only 6 bucks..thank goodness.  He has to use that one 3 times a day.  It is a dilation drop.  That is right.  He has to keep his eye dilated CONSTANTLY!  We go home, and he tries to relax.  His eye of course is bugging the crap out of him because it feels like something is in there.

We go back to the doctor the next day.  I go back with him this time. Oh by the way the office is closed.  She just came in to see us.  She starts her exam.  Does all of the stuff.  She asks Jack, "Ok, so what drops are you putting in your eye and how many times a day?"  He answers 3 times for the dilation and 2 times a day for the antibiotic.  She looks at him like he is crazy and says, "Wait?  I think there has been some misinformation.  You are supposed to be using the antibiotic drop every hour!"  That was definitely not what her employee said, but whatever that isn't the point.  She tells him that she is going to have him do a lot of drops over a short period of time, so that hopefully his eye will start to heal.  Every 15 minutes for 2 hours, then every 30 minutes for 2 hours, and then every hour from then on.  At this point I realize that we are going to have to get the other prescription filled.  I went to the first pharmacy they didn't have it, called my store they didn't have it, I called a ton of other stores nobody!  I finally call the Green Hills pharmacy that just so happens to be right down the road from the doctor now that I am back at home, and they have it.  UGH!  I drive to the pharmacy.  They tell me it is going to be 50 bucks!  No big deal right.  Whatever.  I am just glad they have it!  UNTIL I SEE THE FUCKING BOTTLE!  Guys this bottle has 3 fucking mL of fluid in it!  50 dollars for less than a tablespoon of drug!  Incase you are wondering, a tablespoon is 15 mL.  Now ya see?!

Oh so we go back to the eye doctor every day for a week and a half.  EVERY DAY!  I have seen this woman perform an eye exam on my husband so many times that I could give you an eye exam.  Yep.  Dr. Jennifer at your service!

Every day it gets a little better.  It gets a little smaller.  One day it closes, and she says, "Ok I will see you in a week!"  OMG it's not over yet?!  We go back a week later. Jack asks her, "Can I ever be an eye model again?"  She laughed her ass off and said, "Unfortunately, no you can never be an eye model again.  Your career is over."  Then she said, "I'll see you in 3 weeks!"  OMG!  That is next Tuesday.

Crucial details I have unfortunately left of out of this post.

Jennifer, What the hell is an eye ulcer?
-A hole in your eye!  A freakin' hole!  If it goes untreated, you can go blind!

Jennifer, How the hell did your husband get a big ass hole(<--hehehehe) in his eye?
-Dumb ass didn't take his contacts out enough.  Some bacteria got in his eye, he slapped the contact in, and it ate away his eye.  TAKE YOUR CONTACTS OUT PEOPLE!   Going to the eye doctor every day is expensive!

Jennifer, How much did this little fiasco cost?!
-I have no idea because they haven't told us yet!

Something you may not really care about, but
Jennifer, Why did Jack have to keep his eye dilated?
-Apparently the iris of your eye is as thin as a butterfly wing, and it damages just as easily.  It is a wonder my husband can see after all of the fights he has been in.

Is he back in contacts yet?
-Nope.  He was told that he may never wear contacts again unless he has the scar..yes scar lasered off.

If you have any questions that I have left unanswered feel free to ask!

I NEED TO BLOG!  SOOOOOOOO BAD!  I have a ton to tell ya'll!  I wish it weren't so late right now!

Sunday, May 8, 2011

I freakin' drank caffeine!  What the hell was I thinking?  It is currently midnight, and I am wide awake!  I have to meet Debra at my store in the morning to let her in and to do my ad order.  My store is a freakin' mess.  It makes me so angry.  We were way ahead and staring at each other this time last week.  Then my truck finally arrives on Wednesday, and it is like no one knows what to do.  If they follow my lists to the T, we will be back on track when I get back to work.  I am hoping for the best.

I feel so bad for my MIL.  Not only is she going through all of this stuff with her sister, she found out today that one of her really good friends passed away in her sleep.  This is the lady that took her and her kids in when she finally decided to leave my father-in-law.  What a shitty Mother's Day for her.

Busy day today!

We went to the Renassance Festival this morning.  We met up with Jason (ya'll remember him.  He named his baby after a character in Lost.  BTW after today, he says it was his wife's idea).  He was there by himself.  I seriously wonder if he and his wife ever do stuff together.

Sorry no pictures.  My cellphone died pretty quickly.  I left my charger at my store.  I mean honestly, would you really want to see pictures anyway?

Jack was trying to leave after being there for 2 and half hours.  Yeah right dude!  We paid 20 bucks a piece to go to that thing.  I want to do as much as possible while I am there!

After I let us leave, we drove over to Arrington Vineyard.  It is beautiful by the way.  We gave up trying to taste anything because they were actually taking names like at a restaurant to taste.  I wasn't going to do that today.

Now for the rest of the day, I am just going to chill out because I have to work tomorrow and an hour on Monday.  THEN it will be STAYCATION for a whole week!  WHOOT!
I have a new (to me) washing machine and DRYER!  Whoot!  Our washing machine was not a hunk of crap, but who would want to turn down a frontload washing machine (besides the girl that works with me that after I told her I was getting it proceeded to tell me how everyone that she knows that has one doesn't like it.).  The DRYER though.  Oh the DRYER!  It is like the best thing on Earth right now!  The dryer that we used to use was OLD, and I do mean OLD!  I mean, guys, my granny used it.  That woman died about 12 years ago.  She was not in good health when she passed, so she probably hadn't used it herself in a couple of years before that.  I should totally look at the date.  Anyway,  it took 3 hours to dry a load of clothes.  Can ya'll now imagine the stacks of clothes in my house.  Yes, I mean it...stacks....gross right?  Yeah, well not anymore!  This dryer dries FAST!  Whoot!  We did two loads of laundry before we went to bed last night!  YAY!

It was a pain in the ass getting it here though.  After I got off of work, we drove to Smyrna to borrow my dad's truck.  Then we had to drive to Jack's mom's house over an hour away to pick them up.  While we were there I got to hear more of the family gossip.  I just can't get over how someone is more concerned about what is going to happen to them versus the fact that her mama is in the hospital.  She appears to have dementia.  She has lost a crazy amount of weight too.  Mo says that every now and then she gets to see a glimpse of the person she knows, but then she goes back to talking crazy (for lack of a better word).  Anyway after I got to hear some of the family craziness while Jack, his stepdad, and his brother loaded the washer and dryer, we drove back to our house to take a picture of the dryer plug outlet.  We headed to Home Depot.  That was supposed to be a quick trip....Jack ran into a very pregnant former school friend, Julie, (Misty, she says HI by the way.  ::Champion Grubbs::)  We talked to them forever.  So much for getting my parents' truck back by a decent time.  After we finish there, we have to go home and unload the stupid things!  The dryer weighs nothing, but the washing machine weighs a ton!  I leave after that to take the truck back.  Jack calls me, "I broke the door and the frame."  Luckily it was not the outside door.  I do not know how the other washer and dryer got in there. The doors are tiny.  Anyway to make a long, boring story longer, it took like 5 hours to take care of this.  C-ra-zy

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

I wanted to smack the hell out of a woman earlier.  I really have no patience whatsoever recently.  This lady comes up to me and asks if we have anymore wipes that we carry in our dollar aisle.  I tell her probably not, but we did just get a truck in and they might be on a pallet.  BUT it could take a day or two to get that far.  She says, "Well is there someone back there that can check?"  I should add that I don't have a cashier at this time, and I am the only person on the front end even in the store.  I say, "No there isn't, but like I said it might be out tomorrow if by chance we did get."  She says, "Are you sure there is no one back there?"  very condescending.  I said, "Well considering I am the only person here, no there is not anyone back there." with attitude.  Are you fucking kidding me?  Why would I lie about there not being anyone in my stockroom?  Then she said, "Really?!"  I said, "Yes, really."  Ya'll our freakin' warehouse is in Tuscaloosa.  We are just glad that we got a shipment.  Those poor people who live there probably don't even have houses, and she is upset that we are out of 1.00 wipes.  Really!?

The funny of the day....I was stocking from the truck today and overheard a guy talking to the pharmacist...he asked..I am not kidding ya'll..."Have you ever taken a whole box of dramamine before?  One of my friends told me about it."  The tech answers, "Are you sure it wasn't Dimetapp? I've heard that kids try to drink a whole bottle and then try to fight the urge to sleep.  Then it makes them kind of high feeling."  Guy, "No, no it was definitely Dramamine.  It makes you hallucinate real bad.  I tried it."  Why the hell would you ask/tell a pharmacist that?!  This guy is of course picking up some kind of "good" drug I imagine because he was asking how it would make him feel.  People are so dumb!

I went to Sonic, asked for a peanut butter, fudge shake.  What did I get?  A banana, fudge shake?!  What the hell?  G-ross!

I am currently stuck in my office at work for a VERY long time.  Luckily, I brought my handy dandy laptop with me!  I almost purchased a Nook color to bring with me today instead, but I am still holding out for an Ipad.

My husband's aunt is in the hospital (mom's sister).  She has been slowly deteriorating for months, but she hasn't had any insurance or money to go to a doctor.  Her kids hadn't even checked on her to know that she was that bad off.  She went into the hospital about a week and a half ago.  Mo tells me that she had several bad falls.  She wasn't even able to walk anymore.  When her kids got to the hospital, they blamed Mo for not calling and telling them that their mother was that bad!   What the hell?  That is their mama!  Why have they not gone over to see her in that long!?  Asking Mo "Why didn't you call me?"  They should be ashamed of themselves....oh but it gets worse.  The doctors have basically said that she isn't going to get much better and that she is going to need round the clock care.  They are going to have to do something similar as to what Jack and I are doing with my grandfather's house.  Luckily Mo is the power of attorney.  She has made the decision to sign the house over to the state, so that C will have someone who can take care of her.  Well......this is the "it gets worse" part....C's daughter got upset because of Mo making that decision.  She said, "But my mom told me I could live in that house for the rest of my life as long as I pay rent to D (her brother) that's not fair!"  Are you fucking kidding me?  Your mom is dying and all you care about is a fucking house?!  I feel bad for my mother in law having to put up with this bullcrap.  It is just not right!  She does everything for everybody!  Oh and then Mo was supposed to go see her mom in New York before all of this happened, but she cancelled her trip so that she could be with her sister.  Now her mom has laid a guilt trip on her too!  C-RAZY!

I DVRed the Royal Wedding.  It was definitely the best plan.  I fast-forwarded through all of the parts that I didn't care to watch!  Prince William is so ugly.  Kate Middleton totally could have done better looks wise.  I mean the whole "I'm a princess and dutchess" thing was probably worth it.

I FINALLY got my tooth fixed!  YAY!  I am so excited!  This stupid tooth has been broken for the past 3 years!  I went yesterday for them to fill it in!  Whoot!  No more picking food out of that tooth!  I am just having to train myself to eat on that side again.

I have been working my ass off this week!  I have a shift supervisor on vacation this week, and I have worked every day this week.  Exhausted.  One more week until my vacation!

I got harrassed by the coupon nazi yesterday at Harris Teeter.  She inspected every single one of my coupons.  Ridiculous.  I was so angry by the time I left there.

Yep another short, random fact post.

I did absolutely freakin' nothing until my husband got home from work today!  It was wonderful!  I had to enjoy it considering I have no idea when my next day off will be.

We went to see Water for Elephants tonight.  It was a beautiful.  I will definitely purchase that movie, and it will probably be one of those "It is on TV.  I have to watch it" movies.

Just a few more days until the royal wedding.....why am I getting so excited about this?

Thursday, April 21, 2011

My husband got a subpeona yesterday.  Apparently, he owes from a doctor bill in 2003.  When he called to tell me how much it was to just settle, I immediately went into shock.  How are we going to find the money to pay the 600 dollar doctor bill by next Thursday?  Holy crap.  Then he says, "We will just take money from my next two paychecks and pay it."  Relief!  My brain still thinks my husband doesn't have a job.  Thankfully he does and he gets paid weekly.

God I love the internet.  I wish I had my entire diary from when I was younger online.  I love going to a website and reading about something that happened a few years ago.  Seriously, it is so tempting to break out my middle school diary and start typing.  I am terrified that something is going to happen to it!

Today I looked back to see when my husband and I went on our first date.  I did this last year too. You would think by now that I would remember the date, but apparently it is not ever going to happen.  Thank you internet!

This time last year I was bitching about having to go be a shift supervisor for a month at the Bayside store.  WOW!  I cannot believe it has been a year!

The hubster went to the Preds game.  Can you say, "Home alone?"  Ahhhhh  I didn't have to go anywhere when I got home.

If anyone wants to buy me the Kate Middleton/Prince William wedding dolls, it would be much appreciated! I have the Princess Di/Prince Charles dolls!

Thursday, April 14, 2011

I think this had to be the longest day I have had in a very long time.  I can't believe it, but I am all caught up at work.  So strange.  Hopefully the truck Saturday will be small, and we will crank it out as fast as the last one.  On that note, I am off until Monday.  I am going to go in for a couple of hours on Saturday, and I do have a conference call in the morning but still I have an almost full 3 days off!

I am so ready for the storms coming in tomorrow.  After not experiencing any in the spring of last year, I love it!

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

I think I need to think up some random topics while I am at work during the day because this blog is becoming bo-ring!  Sorry guys.

Friday, April 1, 2011

I am sitting here contemplating going to Lowe's so that I can sand and repaint the rocking chair that is on my front porch.  I want to go for some wild and crazy color.  I am just afraid that the possibility of rain today might mess up my plans.  It looks pretty damn cloudy out there.

I had to get up to take Jack to work.  Now, I cannot go back to sleep.  I will be so happy when he gets tires on his car.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Guys I swear I am not not blogging on purpose!  I have nothing interesting to say!  I swear.  Here this is what happened today...

I got up and took Jack to work.  I went back home and went back to sleep.  I got up and went to the dentist.  I had my teeth cleaned.  I left.  I went to work.  My fucking boss was there.  I went home.

Ok...well perhaps not totally boring today.  My boss came in today.  I swear!  Why the hell does he come in on the worst possible day every month.  He comes in on my transition day.  The day that we are about to start doing all of the little things that he comes in to nit pick about, and then pretend like he doesn't see all of the huge things that have been done.  Yeah.  Fucking sucks!  Oh AND he was there before I got there, so he had already written me 2(!!!!) pages of notes.  I mean really 2?  They were very specific to say the least, but it was all little stuff.  I mean little stuff that had I been there before he started walking around my store with a clipboard, he would have never noticed (I like to keep him talking.)  Ugh!  I am hoping for better next month.  When he comes in on these days, it makes me feel like a totally shitty manager that needs to find a different job.  Oh and to make matters worse.  My sales are down and so are the pharmacy's (stupid Dollar General).  You coupon ladies need to come to my store and go overboard!

Life is all about the puzzle pieces.

Just finished watching Eat Pray Love.  It reminds me of packing up everything I had and driving across country to start a new life.  That trip across country by myself was the most freeing experience I have ever had.  I remember crying from being amazed at the beauty of the US.  I think I would be perfectly content just travelling for months on end.  I am so ready to make a journey like that again, and now that my husband has a job, it is so tempting to go on a road trip in May.  I do have a vacation coming to me after all.  One more thing about the movie.  Life is all about the puzzle pieces, and how people that you come into contact with shape your life.  I have always known this.  I am pretty sure I have written a blog about this at some point in the past.  If not, please tell me.  I would love to bore you with some of the puzzle pieces that got me to where I am now.  Anyway, the movie says something very similar. Everyone and everything that you come into contact with is a clue.  I think that is a pretty interesting way to put it too.

I was going to blog about my weekend in G'burg, but I got started and didn't finish.  You should know that we had a great time!  A blast!

I am exhausted!  I worked all day long, and I mean all day long.  7:30 in the morning until 9 tonight.  I am so ready to go to bed.  What sucks is that I won't be able to sleep in tomorrow because I have to run Jack to work.  Ooooooo I could just make him come home for lunch....Isn't it wonderful?  He finally has a freakin' job!  I love it! Weight lifted off of my shoulders!
MY HUSBAND HAS A JOB!  ::runs around screaming with joy::

This time change is killing me.  I get so tired in the middle of the day from staying up so late because I am used to the previous time.  Can my body just adjust already?!  They just need to do away with DST anyway.  I mean Arizona is surviving without it.

Only 2 more days of work until Gatlinburg.  I am so glad to be getting out of town!  For all I care, we could stay at the cabin all day.  I will be happy just to be somewhere other than Nashville.  We are however having dog watching issues.  My MIL said she would be willing to watch 2 dogs.  I found someone to watch Maverick.  Now, Jack talked to her again, and she is acting like she doesn't want to watch Roscoe (Boston Terrier).  My cousin said she would watch our pug (Maverick).  That will probably throw that plan out the window.  I don't know who I will get to watch Roscoe.  Maybe our former neighbor will watch him.  They have 2 Bostons anyway.  I was just trying to match energy levels with the dogs.

I possibly have big wigs coming to my store in the morning.  I hope not, but they are staying at a motel near the airport tonight which is right down the road from my store.  :(  EEK!  I hope they don't come by because I won't be there.  Jack has another dentist appointment in the morning, so they can tell him what all they are going to do to his teeth.  Perhaps the dentist will take him as one of those "see what I can do" patients.  Dental work is too expensive.

I am off to watch Bones and go to sleep.

Saturday, March 12, 2011

My throat is killing me!  I had one of those "what the hell were you thinking moments" last night at the theater!  I took the wrapper off of my straw that I then placed in my mouth (you get where this is going).  I went to throw the wrapper into the seat next to me (gotta give those theater cleaners something to do) then my arm hit the end of the straw sending it straight into the back of my mouth.  It hurt so bad, and it still does.  OW!

I know ya'll are just dying to know what we saw.....Battle of Los Angeles and Little Red Riding Hood.

Battle of LA was good.  Little Red Riding Hood ( I am not kidding) could have been called Twilight.  Her dad is even the dad from Twilight.  Yeah.  Some of the scenes look like they just took them from Twilight.  There is even a lying in the field scene.  I mean don't get me wrong I know that there are similar motifs to the movies, but really they could have done some different shots.  Watch it.  You will see.  I mean there is even a wolf...(of course there is!  What LRRH movie would be complete without one?) :)

Thursday, March 10, 2011

I worked all day today by myself.  I had no cashier.  Damn today was good.  I know that sounds crazy, but I got to do a planogram today. <---my favorite.  :)

I finally have all of my days that I am going to G'burg covered!  I am so happy!  What I am not so happy about is that my brother, sister in law, and niece are not going now.  Hailey has an ear infection again.  The doctor said that the elevation would most likely make the pain worse for her.  She is getting tubes in her ears on Monday.  :(  Jack and I really wanted them to go, and I know my mom is really disappointed too.

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Managers' meeting in Cookeville today.  I drove out there no problem.  I noticed a huge accident with miles and miles and miles of traffic on the opposite side of the road.  I thought for sure it would be cleaned up 6 hours later when I had to drive back through.  I was sooo wrong.  I sat in traffic for 2 hours on the way back.

I am sure you are just dying to know that the meeting was extra boring.  What a waste of payroll!  I would have rather been in my store working.  I am exhausted just from having to sit there.

Friday, March 4, 2011

If ya'll went to Smyrna, you probably know this Katie too!  You crafty types will love her blog.  She is doing a giftcard giveaway on her site!  Go check it out here!
After a lot of begging by my husband, we went to Zanies last night.  My brother in law paid for us to go minus the cost of drinks.  He brought a girl.  I think he was trying to impress her.  Ya'll remember how he is at Zanies, right?  He doesn't know how to whisper, and he almost always says something to the comedian.  It makes me want to hide my face.  UGH!  I freakin' hate it!  If you are trying to impress a girl, you should most definitely not do things like that.  On the plus side, he did not stay at our house last night!  YAY!  Oh BTW the comedians at Zanies this weekend are T.C Cope (he finally has some new material...it is about time), Nikki Glaser (she is hilarious...I would go again just to see her...fucking hilarious.  Ya'll would love her.  If you watch Last Comic Standing, she was on there.), and Andy Kindler (He is a very scatterbrained comedian, but he is very funny nonetheless).

For today, I plan to be lazy!  I am off of work, and I think it is supposed to rain.  That is what my phone told me yesterday at least.  Jack wanted to go to the zoo again.  I guess if it doesn't rain we will.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

My apologies for not blogging for a while.  I really have nothing to say.  Well nothing remotely interesting.

The hubster and I went to IHOP for free pancakes and to the zoo for our free admission (good ol' membership).

I haven't cut out my coupons yet, but I would like to reiterate what my cuz said on her blog.  I hate that the coupons that come in the mailbox do not match up with the Sunday newspaper.  DRIVES ME BONKERS!  I just set those to the side, and I refuse to cut them out unless I absolutely need them.

I think I am going to go clean now.  Told ya.  Nothing interesting to say.

Monday, February 21, 2011

YAY!  I got a new printer!  I have another printer, but it has a part that mysteriously disappeared a little bit after I got it.  The new printer is AWESOME!  Eee!  I can't wait to use it!  I can't wait for MORE COUPONS!  Eeek!  I know I am a total dork, but after all of the money I have saved at Harris Teeter this past week I can't help it!

I got stuck working on Saturday because my sickie shift supervisor called out for the weekend.

I think I have my whole weekend in March covered!  I am so glad!  I was going to be totally disappointed if I wasn't able to go, but it looks like everything is working out!  YAY!  I even printed my tickets off the interweb last night!  I am soooo ready to go!  Is it time yet?  Only 3 more weekends and a few days until then!

I got my little brother a job!  He doesn't know it yet, but he has a job.  :)  Big sister has some pull.

Thursday, February 17, 2011

I'm such a dork!  All day long I have been trying to figure out why my calves were hurting.

It's my shoes!  DUH!  I bought some of those toning shoes at Burlington Coat Factory about a month ago.  I just started wearing them almost all of the time recently.  I am surprised I can tell a difference.

I am pretty ticked right now about work.  As you know, I have a trip planned in March.  I have told both of my shift supervisors that I am taking that weekend off.  Today, one of my shifts comes to me and tells me that her husband is having surgery on the 16th and she is going to be off from the 16 until who knows when.  WTF!?  Now I am in a race to find people that can help me that weekend, so that she can be off and I can go out of town.  I am hoping and praying that I am able to find people to help.  RRRRR!

Yesterday, the other shift supervisor asked me if I was mad at her because I scheduled her 4 nights this week.  I looked at her like she was crazy.

The same shift supervisor is now talking about taking a LOA to figure out what is wrong with her health.  :(

My husband went to the Predator's game with his brother.  I currently want to punch my husband in the face because he drank too much and is acting stupid whiney/crying.  Apparently he was trying to "stick up" for his little brother and his brother got mad at him.  Boo fucking hoo .....cares?  Not me.  Sorry.  I told him I wasn't there.  I don't know what happened and to be honest I don't care.  If he hadn't drank anything, I would care.  Suck it up!  He just spilled my fucking drink I had in the fridge.  Rrrrrrrrrrr  Earfull tomorrow!  Oh did I mention that he left all the windows open and the back door open wide open when he left earlier.  Yeah.

Monday, February 14, 2011

Ugh.  I feel fat.  Stepped on the scale.  It didn't make me feel any better, and you know what I did after that?  I went and got some freakin' ice cream.  I should be ashamed.  **hangs head** It was soooo good though.  :)  I do have a bag of salad in the refrigerator, so perhaps tomorrow I will convince myself to eat better.  I have really cut out a lot of fast food recently...not that the freakin' scale shows it, but I have damn it.

Sunday, February 13, 2011

Well my vacation wasn't supposed to be over until tonight, but I had to work the past two days.   :(  I have decided that, since I had to work today that I am most definitely leaving early on Friday and two other days this week.  I have to cut 5 hours out of my schedule....or should I?  The OT sounds nice, and I won't be over my payroll hours.  hmmmmmm  Gatlinburg money?  I already have to work more hours the next week.

We did our taxes yesterday.  I am hoping that we actually get money back this year.  We always "get money back," but it has been going to pay off my husband's student loans for the past 2 years. I think it is finally paid off after last year.  **crosses fingers**  We didn't get a letter last year telling us how much was left soooo PLEASE OH PLEASE deposit some money into my account, so I can use a little of it for G'burg and give the rest to my parents' to pay back the money I owe them for fixing my car!  <---extra long sentence

I cannot wait to go to Gatlinburg.  I am so ready regardless of not really being interested in being there.  I am just ready to get away!  I hope it is beautiful all weekend!  One more month!

Did ya'll know that tomorrow you can get BOGO tickets to the Ripley's Aquarium online.  Just a little FYI!  :)

Thursday, February 10, 2011

9 Days?  I haven't posted in 9 days?

I am currently on vacation.  My vacation consists of 2 days that I have to work.  Sucks.  Oh well!  I made sure to make it extra long, so I could make up for those two days.  I worked last Thursday, and I have been off since then except for Monday.  I also have to work Saturday because I couldn't find anybody to close that night.  I don't have to go back to work until Monday!  YAY!

I plan on using some of that extra vacation time that I get back on the family vacation.  We are all..yes all..going to G'burg in March.  Well all meaning my immediate family.  My mom and dad, brothers, sis-in-law, niece, and hubby.  I cannot wait!  I am getting so excited.  I am not sure why other than all of them being there.  Ya'll know the last time my husband and I went it kind of sucked.  We are going to pick up some BOGO tickets to the Ripley's Aquarium!  If you purchase them on February 14th online, you get them BOGO!  Just a little FYI incase you were wondering!  :)

My whole vacation has consisted of sitting or lying on the couch.  Sleeping, eating, existing.  We did head out to the grocery store the other day.  Whole Foods, Harris Teeter <--I need to go back to.  B2G3 on trail mix!, and Kroger.
Trail mix is my most current thing that I have found and love!  I can't believe that I have just now discovered dried pineapple!  I love it!  I also had (this is going to sound disgusting so get ready) pickled watermelon rind.  It is delicious!  It tastes like candied watermelon rind.  Try it if you ever get the opportunity especially over a strong bleu cheese on a cracker.  YUM!  If you are wondering where the hell I would have tried such a thing, we had it the other night at a beer tasting.  I didn't actually taste any of the beer (YUCK!)  I did however try the cheese/chocolate that they were pairing with the beer.  We also met a really nice couple that kept us company during the tasting.  The guy kind of reminded me of a gay guy that married a girl to stay in the closet, but who am I to judge?  Stay in the closet if you want to.  :)

Yesterday was my anniversary!  3 years!  Curious about our wedding day, and missed that post last year?  Click here!  We didn't do anything this year.  I did have to go to the doctor.  We have actually celebrated more today than yesterday.  I made breakfast this morning.  Pancakes and sausage balls.  He is making dinner tonight chuck eyes and baked potatoes. We were thinking about going to see a movie, but that would require us cleaning the snow off of my car.  We would also have a tagalong because my brother in law is staying over for the second night in a row.

Tuesday, February 1, 2011

I took a nap way too late today.  7 at night?  Really?  What the hell was I thinking?  Now I am wide awake because I woke up at 11 worried that the dogs needed to go outside.  I am sitting here watching Nip/Tuck with 3 dogs in my lap.

I did have a productive day at work today.  We are almost finished resetting the cosmetic wall!  YAY!

I totally forgot/was too tired to cut my coupons tonight.  I am not about to start now because I would be up until I had to go to work cutting and organizing.  There were a lot of coupons this week!  I hope I remember to take my coupons with me in the morning.  It is Ad Order day.

My hubby cooked an awesome dinner tonight!  Spaghetti and meatballs,

^Boring Post because I have nothing interesting to say.  :)

Monday, January 31, 2011

I left work early today to take Jack to his appointment.  I am sure I am going to regret that the next few days.  I either have to work an extra hour the next 3 days, or I have to work on Friday or Saturday for 3 hours.

Other than that.  I have done nothing exciting today.  Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and a nap.  The nap was the best part of the day.  :)

Sunday, January 30, 2011

OMG guys!  I went to my parents' house on Friday (AKA my birthday).  My little brother has a girlfriend.  I was in shock.  All I could think was, "He's too young."  I had to give myself a reality check.  He is 17.  Oh my god!  I cannot believe it!  I mean when I was his age I had had 2 serious boyfriends and a lot of little ones here and there.  Eeek!  That little girl is skinny mini too.  I mean pencil thin.

Work has been uneventful, and that is how I like it.

Jack has a psychiatrist appointment tomorrow.  I think it is ridiculous that he has to go to a psy just to get his freakin' Paxil.  That is crazy!

I wish ya'll could hear my dogs snoring right now.

I am going to bed.  Tired.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011

Finally!

My vacation finally got approved!  Guess what!  It is in one week!  Whoot!  Then, I have another one in May.  This one in February will be the week of Jack and my anniversary.  :)  I cannot wait to have a full week off of work.  I have been so tired lately and really just need a break.  I would also love to go somewhere!  Anywhere!  Even if only for a day!

My birthday is Friday.  I hope ya'll remembered to buy me something.  Just sayin'  :)

Tuesday, January 25, 2011

Is it Spring yet?

I mean snow again?!  Honestly, I worry that as much as it has snowed this winter that it will be a thunderous spring.

OMG  I bought windshield wiper blades today.  I know this doesn't sound very exciting to you.  I turned on my windshield wipers, and I COULD SEE!  Oh wow!  I had no idea!  I knew I needed wiper blades, but I had no idea it was that bad!

I forgot to tell ya'll.  My brother's work is probably about to hire someone, and he gave the Jack the heads up.  Apparently, my brother's boss is just waiting for the ok to hire someone!  EEK!  I hope I hope I hope.

Exhausted

I have been trying to catch up to where my husband is on Nip/Tuck.  I stayed up until 2 this morning watching season 3.  I regret it now because it is way too early to go to bed, and yet I think that is where I am about to head.

My eczema is really flaring up.  Honestly it doesn't matter, but when a little old lady asks what is wrong with your hands, you can't help but wonder if she thinks you just gave her a disease by handing her money back to her.

This picture does not do it justice.  It is on both hands, up my arms, and on my legs.
Saved 58 percent at Kroger yesterday!
Saved 60 percent at Kroger today!  I forgot a few things though.  I didn't realize some of the coupons that I wanted to use were in the paper today.

I have to go back to work tomorrow.  Ugh.  3 days off in a row is always so nice.  One of my vacations will be coming up soon!  YAY!

Ugh

I was wrong ya'll my brother in law is back.  :(  I was totally excited to have a night without him, but apparently he drank too much and wasn't able to drive home...now he is here.

On the bright side, my husband has just finished cleaning the livingroom, bathroom, and is now in the kitchen.  I think I am about to run to Kroger to get another free Yakisoba noodle and some cheapie cereal.

**Update**
He just spilled Pepsi all over my fucking hardwood floors.  Rrrrrrrr

**Update 2**  My husband is running around the house about to have a panic attack.  It makes me want to go somewhere.  At least, I know he is in the safety of our own home if I leave him here for a while.

**Update 3**  My husband is now cleaning out the fridge.  I hate it when the fridge gets cleaned out and it looks like you have no food.....that is what he is about to do.  And now, the refrigerator is making a horrible noise.
