Heartbroken for a girl I went to school with.
I found out today that a girl(Michelle Merryman)that I went to school with lost her baby. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her little girl's neck twice. It just breaks my heart to hear that. She lost her son a few years ago when he was a baby too. All that heartbreak. I cannot even imagine what she is going through right now. This is one of the bad things about Facebook. You kind of watch people go through their pregnancies, and you get to see the baby in the end. Michelle has posted a ton of updates about her pregnancy along with ultrasounds, and her excitement about being dialated. She was supposed to go in tomorrow to be induced if she hadn't gone into labor. Tears me up.
Waving HI!
A new blog to follow ladies and uh guys...I really doubt there are any guys reading my blog. :)
Kalamities by Kailee
It is my cousin's daughter's blog. She is 4. She says the darndest things. :)
It is almost 3 in the morning.
My husband has been sick all weekend.
My sink in my bedroom officially overflowed out of the pot that was underneath it... twice.
I gave in and decided to call maintenance.
I cleaned like crazy before calling them.
They fixed my problem in 10 minutes! It was awesome!
I wanted to punch a kid today.
Ok he was over the age of 21, but he was acting like a child.
Here is the quick story....
Guy comes in with friends. The two guys buy beer. They also have two girls with them. One of the girls tries to buy wine. The license out here have a magnetic strip on the back, so after looking at the ID I tell her to slide it. It says she is too young. I tell her I can't sell it. She gets pissy. I tell her I am not going to do it. The register won't let me, so I am not doing it. My thoughts were that it could be fake. Seriously, she had been out in the sun or in the tanning bed way too much because she looked old and leathery. Stay out of the sun people! Anyway her friend next to her then proceeds to think I am going to sell it to her. Nope because that would mean you are buying it for your underage friend. She tells me that she is going to call a police officer up there to verify her ID, and I tell her ok. You can do that. That is fine with me! (oooo..I am totally scared that they are going to call the cops to come up there because I am doing my job.) They leave. The next guy that comes up (not with that group) wants to buy cigarettes. I look at his ID. It says he is old enough, the cashier tells me that this guy's ID has worked before. I tell him the same as the girl before, but he doesn't get pissy. I look at him tell him I am going to call our Field System Support because I think our system is messing up. Right after I tell him that, douche bag from previous group comes in and asks me (exact quote), "Who do you think you are not selling someone who is 21 beer?" At that moment, I had to stop myself from A. laughing and B. from punching this whiney bitch in the face. I would like to keep my job so instead, I looked at him with a very bored look on my face, and I told him that I was in the process of calling my corporate office to see what was going on. They tell me that it must just be acting up and to just enter the date of birth off of the license. I sell them their beer even though I want to tell them to get their butts out of the store, and I sell the nice patient guy his cigarettes (of course, I told him they were bad for him.) So much for a short story.

My cousin just made me laugh
My cousin just made me laugh, so I have to tell you.
I just got a message from my cousin, and she read my recent infertility post. She laughingly reminded me that I have nothing to worry about because we are very fertile family. I can't believe that I haven't thought about that!
*My mom has 3 sisters and 2 brothers (One who passed before having children)
Sister #1 has 5 children
Sister #2 has 2
Sister # 3 has 3
Brother has 2
*This is where it gets to be hard
Sister #1's 5 children
#1 2 Children
#2 2 Children but with some difficulties, but damnit she did it!
#3 1 kiddie
#4 and #5...I am not entirely sure about them, but well if you knew all of my cousins....let's just say they probably have some out there.
Sister #2's 2 children
#1 I think he has 2
#2 has 2
Sister #3's 3 children
#1 has 3..
#2 has 5
#3 has 1
Brother's 2
#1 has 6!
#2 has 2
I guess I should throw my family in there too. I have 3 brothers! :)
My dad's side
My uncle had 4 girls
#1 has 3 kids
#2 has 3 kids
#3 and #4 aren't making babies quite yet.
So aside from one cousin having difficulties, I, obviously, should not have a problem. :) Thanks for listening to my hysteria anyway. :)

Puzzle Pieces
Do not let me forget to tell you about my Puzzle Pieces philosophy! I thought I had already talked about it on here, but I looked back and it does not appear to have come up!
We went to the Angels' game tonight! :) I had a pretty decent time! A guy from Jack's work and his girlfriend came. She wasn't too bad. She is just one of those girls who was practically white hair with those random black pieces mixed in. Interesting style, but just not for me. :)
I noticed that water had come up in my sink yet again today. I gave in and found a neighbor who would let me have a wire hanger. While in the process of asking, she informed me that she is having a similar problem in her apartment!!! She told me that her daughter's bedroom flooded TODAY! She is also on the bottom floor like us. I just wanna know what the hell the people above us are putting down their sinks! I really do not want to have to call maintenance, but it is looking like I am going to have to suck it up and go ahead and do it. Bleech. Strange, weird person in my apartment. :( I need to get the water pressure looked at in the spare bedroom too, so I will just add that to the list of things to have looked at.
I am thinking that tomorrow will be another Swapmeet day, OR maybe I will finally be able to convince my husband to go to San Juan Capistrano tomorrow. ORRRR!!!! Even better! We could go to Long Beach! I totally want to go check out the Queen Mary! I want to do that sooooo badly! The only thing that does suck is that it is Memorial Day weekend. Tourists big time! Traffic is going to suck ass through Monday. I could not believe all of the wrecks this afternoon because of the influx of people! It is kind of strange to realize that I live in a tourist town. Eeek! Will I want to buy a bumper sticker that says, "Tourists go home" before too long?

I am extra boring tonight. Promise. The most exciting point of my day was not exciting at all. Jack has been sick to his stomach all night. He went to lunch somewhere and got a burger called The Godfather Burger. It apparently had 2 patties and pastrami on it... no wonder he didn't feel well.
I will share this with you just incase you didn't see it on Facebook yet. :)
The following was found posted VERY LOW on a refrigerator door:
Dear Dogs,
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't helo because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a King sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the counch to ensure your comfort. However, dogs can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, streched out to the fullest extent. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing by sarcasm.
For the last time, THERE IS NO SECRET EXIT FROM THE BATHROOM! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, sniff, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit thrugh the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years, canine attendance is not required.
The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog's butt. I cannot stress this enough!
Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:
TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. Thans why they call it "fur"-niture.
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons and daughters who are short, hairy. walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.
Remember, dogs are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3. Are easier to train
4. Normally come when called
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't smoke, drink or do drugs
7. Don't want to wear your clothes
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college
10. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children
Here is to hoping that I actually get a decent night's sleep.

Free movie night!
We went to see ummm The Hungry Rabbit Jumps. It was good but very predictable. That is to be expected, since it is so rare to find anything that is original in current films.
Please forgive the TMI, but Aunt Flo is acting a little crazy right about now. She is all sporadic. She is never like this. She usually is going full force right about now.
I'm going to bed. I am freakin' tired from not sleeping last night.

Dear...
I really wish I could go back and talk to myself about 15 years ago and ask myself what I think I would be doing in 15 years. I know I wouldn't ever in a million years think that I would be in California. I know that I would think that I would be teaching, but that is about it. I imagine I would think that I would be living in TN because I never really had any desire to move away.
I remember telling my mom once that I wanted to change my name to Stacey. I have no idea why other than the thought that it sounded like a good valley girl name which in itself is weird now being I live in California, and that is definitely how the girls out here talk. Like Oh My God. :) I totally used to talk like that as a youngin'. I loved Clueless. I loved Saved By the Bell (BTW I am working at the Bayside Pharmacy.)
When I was younger, I kept a diary. It is addressed Dear Daughter because I wanted my daughter to know that I did understand what it was like to be a teenager. I have gone back through it and read a lot of the stuff in it. Some things I read, and I just don't get why I was upset about it, but then I remember that was the whole point of keeping the diary. All of the boy stuff takes me back to that magical place in my childhood. I can remember meeting Jason, Brent, Joey (Yes, Ramsey...we dated for 2 and a half years/ It seems like a million years ago), and I remember my first kiss, Travis (He went to Riverdale). Oh and that guy Mike. All of those memories are in that precious diary. Every now and then through high school, I would write a little something (probably about Kristoffer-he was the other long term relationship), and it would make its way into the book (it is actually a three ring binder). I have lost a couple of journals though. :( My diary is currently at my mother in law's house sitting with some other important papers of mine.

Insomnia
It is currently 3 in the morning here, and I am wide awake. I promise that I lay in bed for like 30 minutes before giving up and getting back on the computer. Aunt Flo decided to show up, and she brought Uncle Cramp, Brother No Sleep, and Best Friend Excessive Thinker. All I keep thinking about is having kids. My husband said yesterday that our former roommate (I'm sure you remember me talking about Ulti McDouche Bag) thinks that his girlfriend (yep, same one that cleaned my freakin' microfiber couch with something) might be pregnant. Anyway, Jack said something about how he almost wishes he would have just had a kid really young, so they would be older and already in high school by now. I know, scary some of his friends have kids in high school AND one of them is already a granddad (my husband is only 31). Anyway, I have always been told to wait as long as I want to have kids. I am only 26, but all of the sudden I'm all worried. Specifically, what if it is really hard for me to get pregnant? Now I have waited all of this time (I know, I know I am only 26), and I will have to wait even longer to have a kid. My mom was a really young mother, so I grew up hearing about how I should wait until I am ready blah, blah, blah (My oldest brother will be 34 this year, me, next brother is 16, and youngest brother is 13. Yep we all have the same parents). Seriously, when is anyone ready to have a kid? I secretly hope that I just wind up pregnant, so I don't ever have to tell myself I am ready. I will just be forced to be ready. Ehhhh. I told myself a couple of years ago that I wanted to be 28 when I had my first kid. It is amazing how things change in the course of a couple of years. Ehh.
Chillaxin'
I wish you could have seen my husband's face earlier! I saw him eating angel food cake, and I asked him why he wasn't eating strawberry shortcake. He looked like he was going to cry! He said, "I didn't know we had any of the topping left! I have been craving one all day!" Poor thing! His tooth on the other side of his mouth has been bugging him, and it probably would have made him feel a little bit better had he been able to have a strawberry shortcake. :(
I am now currently watching National Lampoon's Family Vacation. Such a classic! :)

Post 148
There I was this afternoon getting ready for work. I brushed my teeth. I noticed the sink was holding water, but I didn't think too much of it. I went on to put my makeup on. Running water, where is that sound coming from? I proceed to look around. The sink is still full that isn't it. I look down towards the carpet. There it is. Flippin' water leaking onto the carpet. I swing open both doors to get under the sink. There is water going everywhere! Ok so that is a bit of an exageration, but water was dripping profusely into the cabinet. I had to move everything out from underneath. I then went into plumber mode. I grabbed a big pot, put it underneath the leak, and began untwisting the pipe. That is when water went everywhere. I took it all apart to find that the clog is at a point in the pipe that I cannot get to, AND I have no more wire hangers! Thanks a lot Mommy Dearest. I fucking need that wire hanger that you screamed, "No more wire hangers!" to me about! I replaced all of them with plastic because I think it looks nicer, and I didn't wanna hear you bitch anymore! Did I think to keep a couple of them? Of course not! :) My clothes were luckily spared when the water spewed. Thank God for towels! Here is to hoping the Drano works!

Kasey Kahne Heikle
I came home today to my husband cleaning like a mad man. I can tell he needs his meds. He starts getting really cranky, and he has a very low tolerance for any and everything (that sounds a bit redundant). Apparently he gave Kasey (our min pin) a bath, she then proceeded to hop straight onto the bed and pee on 2 blankets, a pillow, and the mattress. He was furious. Now he is talking again about sending her to live with his mom. I am trying to convince him otherwise because he has always talked about how she is his baby, and I know he will regret it as soon as we take her there. She is just getting old and doesn't care anymore. We have had her, since we first started dating. She was not a puppy when we got her. At least, I don't think she was. She was rescued from someone's trunk. My sister in law had her first. She decided that she didn't want her and took her to my mother-in-law's house. Jack and I stopped by there one day after running to Sonic. I had tator tots. We met Kasey for the first time (her name was puppy at the time), and I fed her tator tots (they are still her favorite!). Jack begged his mom to let him have her. He just fell in love with her the moment he saw her! Jack's mom of course told him he could have her, and she has been with us ever since. She really is a sweet dog. She doesn't lick at all, she just loves to hug. She is also the best guard dog I have. Maverick could care less who walks in the front door, and Roscoe will roll over if you act like you shoot him. :)

Just so you know, I shot this video just for you! If you listen really closely, you can hear me telling my husband that I want to put it on my blog. :)
The waves were crazy today! We went down to Balboa Peninsula again today! We got the hookup at Harborside (we knew our waiter). Jack got the 20 dollar breakfast buffet for free. :) We paid for his drink and my food and that was it. I had the 4 dollar wedge salad and then proceeded eating whatever Jack offered me off of his plate. Their buffet is awesome!
I am currently finishing up season 1 of Battlestar Galactica. I told you the geeky side was coming out.
I finally freakin' cleaned my kitchen! YAY! I informed my husband that it is up to him to keep it clean for the next two days, since I have to close both nights. Oh June 6th how I long for you! I am so ready to be back to my normal work schedule!
I feel like I am being boring tonight, so I will leave it at that because I really want to watch this episode of Lost!

Broken FlipFlop
I started my day driving over to Balboa Island. Just when we finally found a parking spot, I realized I broke my flipflop. I knew I should have taken another pair of shoes! I have been dying to go over there and take pictures, and I finally almost had the chance! Sucky!
Anyway the flipflop broke, which meant an impromptu trip to the Ross' to pick up some new flipflops. We got there, and my husband proceeded to put rig my flipflop. Here are the pictures.

The finish product lasted just long enough for me to get close to the shoe department where I found 2 new pair of flipflops! :)
After we left Ross's, we ran over to the cheap t-shirt store. Then on to the swapmeet! Of course, we found the same damn shirts that Jack bought at the cheap tshirt store even freakin' cheaper at the swapmeet, but it happens. Our best find at the swapmeet today was FREE Angels' tickets! Whoot Whoot! We bought a huge thing of strawberries for 2 dollars and got the tickets that we were going to pay for next week (did I mention we were already planning on going with the neighbors?) for FREE! The hubby bought some nerdy comic books. We also had an Elvis Presley Apple (peanut butter banana caramel covered apple). I wish I would have taken a picture of it because it was so pretty and pretty damned tasty too!
After the swapmeet, we ran by the 99 cent store because as you already know it is my favorite place to find stuff! I picked another set of flipflops there and a lot of other boring stuff! We also had to stand at the register FOREVER because their computer froze up! I couldn't bitch though because I know it has happened to me at my work a few times.
We came back home and started to show our dorky side by starting to watch the Battlestar Galactica series. It really isn't horrible. I did fall asleep on the couch, but I have still been soooo tired so I blame it on that.
Oh! Did I mention that we also have free movie tickets for next week?! YAY! Wednesday night free movie and Friday night free baseball game! Whoot! Gotta love freebies! The movie has Nicolas Cage in it!
MacGruber
Yep, we went and saw MacGruber tonight. My husband thought it was hilarious. Me, not so much. Some parts were funny, but as a whole kind of stupid. Honestly, I think it will be a movie I have to watch a few times to truly find hilarious. We were going to sneak in to see Shrek, but I can't convince myself that I want to see this one. I thought the last one was horrible.
I have had a very productive past two days at work! No personality cashier actually smiled yesterday! I thought I was going to die laughing. I am so serious! I had to hold it in because I thought she was going to ask me what was so funny. She even tried to crack a joke today (well Friday). She has a weird sense of humor, so I didn't realize I was supposed to laugh at what she said until it was too late. I had to do the delayed chuckle.
I wish I could send ya'll a sample of the Lemonhead Ice Cream that we sell at the stores out here! It is delicious! They only have Thrifty Ice Cream on the west coast though. :( Perhaps one day they will make it that way!
If you didn't catch the Grey's Anatomy season finale, you need to! I can't wait until next season! Which reminds me, I need to watch this week's episode of Glee! It also reminds me that the series finale of Lost is on Sunday. :(
My pug has the worst gas tonight. It smells like sulfur about every two minutes from where I am sitting. I wish you could have seen Jack's face when the odor wafted over to him tonight. Hehehe
Oh! My husband purchased a signed lithograph today. I reluctantly told him he could put it in the livingroom. I told him we could put it above my bookcase, but he convinced me to let him put it beside the TV. The bright side of purchasing this thing is that it has already increased its value!

Ahh!
Ok, so I am currently watching this movie that I had no idea was going to be freaky! I wish my husband hadn't put it on for me before he went to bed. It is called The First Daughter. It sounded perfectly harmless! It is not! It is very scary SciFi! I was kind of thinking about going to sleep at a decent time tonight, but it is definitely not happening now. Normal people would probably turn it off, but I have to have resolution to the movie and then a funny tv show after when watching movies like this.
Money frustration solved. :) I didn't even have to call my parents. Thank God!
My favorite part of the day was when I got to work. The assistant at the store I am working at told me that Daniel called (that is my boss aka District Manager) and wanted me to call him back. I called, and I was immediately informed that I would resume my normal job on June 7!!!! YAY! No more nights and weekends unless I want em! I am off this weekend, and I know that I will be off at least Saturday of the next week. I was so happy that I felt kind of bad! I do like the people that I am currently working with minus a ummm few. Ooooooo that sounds like fun! Let's do that..
1. Weird cashier #1 Let's just call them by their real names! Ana
Ana has no personality. She very rarely smiles, and she seriously has nothing to talk about. The customers complain about her because she is so dull (seriously I had a complaint Monday). I don't think she is all there. Ana is married to
2. Weird cashier #2 Bill He is very strange, but he does at least have a personality. He is much older than Ana. I can't really describe him, but I do really want to know how the hell the store manager managed to hire/get away with having a married couple at the store. It is totally not legal by Rite Aid standards.
3. Weird Cashier #3 Holly This girl is flippin' nuts! She wasn't so bad when I first started working there, but she is slowly showing her true colors. Today she yelled because the PAC (it's just a position you really don't care what she does) walked away right when she got there. She went on this spill about how she needed 3 minutes when she got there to get settled and ready for the evening. I informed her that the PAC was not supposed to be running a register, and that if she needed 3 minutes she needed to talk to a manager and request that. :)
4. The Store Manager. Ok so really she isn't horrible, but she doesn't seem to know how to make a schedule, and everytime I come in after her, the money is wrong in some way. She also mysteriously gets away with having people that she is related to work in the same store as her.
5. The pharmacists (at least 2 of them) like to act like you are lesser than they are because you work on the front end. I swear they think I am stupid. Tonight the pharmacist said that I should volunteer to make her gate come down over the pharmacy because she hurt herself last time she had to do it. Just go back to the first sentence about the pharmacists. All I could think was, "You bitch! I am not going to fucking do that." Instead, I looked at her like she was nuts. :) The other pharmacist (when I first got there) must have thought that I didn't know what I was doing yet because when they called manager and I came back there he made a snide comment. What is funny to me is that I have taught everyone on the front end something that they didn't know how to do. The assistant was so excited when I showed him a few things that no one else would sit down and show him. What can I say? I am a remember/know it all when it comes to Rite Aid. I haven't done that job in 8 months, and I still remember it.
Ok that movie did not have a resolution, now onto the funny sitcom! Jeez it is already 1:30! I have to be back at work at 7:45. Bleech!

The newest blog I am following is My Ex Wife's Wedding Dress. Thought ya'll might like it too!
I could really use a couple hundred bucks right about now. If ya wanna wire it to me, I will wire it back to you on Friday. **A girl can hope for someone to actually want to do that, right?** My husband's car payment HAD to be paid today! I was thinking it could wait until Friday, but my husband paid me a visit today at work and told me it HAD to be paid. If you are wondering why it HAD to be paid, the company that he bought the car from uses Lojack. Sooooo not only do they know where the car is at all times, they can also shut it off while you are driving even if you are a day late paying the payment. Fun! :) Therefore the payment is paid, but yeah...like I inferred we didn't have the money. I really don't want to have to call my mom and dad to ask for money. It just not something I ever want to do. Ehhhh just the thought of it makes me dread getting bitched at.

Tired!
So there I was in an aisle at work today, when this lady looks at my hair and says, "You have the most beautiful hair. I mean, it is just gorgeous!" I say, "Thank you so much!" Then I turn to smile only to realize it is the chick from the movie Beetlejuice! The chick who played the mom! I thought that was pretty cool! Yet another celebrity sighting thanks to Rite Aid! I am still dying to see Britney Spears walk into my Laguna Niguel store. That store apparently gets a lot of celebrities because it is right down from the Montage Resort and some ridiculously expensive hotel.
Work sucked today because for some reason I have been crazy tired the past few days. I mean, I would just lie in bed all day if I had the option. Yesterday I had to force myself up at like 10:30, and then I went and lay on the couch until my husband finished cooking me breakfast(I know lay doesn't sound correct, but it is indeed the correct past tense of lie). French Toast if you are wondering. It is his new thing for Sundays. He said his Dad used to make it for him when his friends would spend the night. Anyway back to being totally freakin' exhausted today. Honestly, it was the worst day this week to be tired because it was the day that the store got their truck. Bleech! I had no choice but to function. The assistant kept asking me what was wrong because I guess I wasn't as talkative as normal. I really think it is just the weather because it has been overcast the past couple of days. I guess June Gloom started early this year. Sucks! It could also be PMS, but I am not usually this tired.
Yesterday Jack and I went to the beach! Yay! Finally! We went down to the Newport Pier and walked on the beach for a second and then down on the Balboa Peninsula. We ate lunch at Harborside like normal. Gotta love 4 dollar happy hour food. I just had a Wedge Salad and a Chicken Wrap (more of a lettuce wrap). When we were finished there, we saw that the happy hour Electric Riverboat was docked! SCORE! Free boat ride! All we had to do was buy a drink and a taco! Ok, so technically that doesn't make it entirely free, but next time we go down to the peninsula we can just eat on the boat and enjoy the ride! Tacos were only 2 bucks, and they were awesome!
OMG! My neighbors upstairs are ridiculous loud! I swear there must be a girl up there that constantly wears heels in the kitchen OR (since I have never noticed a girl up there) a guy who bought some heels that likes to dress up and practice his feminine side. Perhaps he cooks late night meals in his heels! :)

My nails are super shiny right now, so I have to tell you how!

If you have ever seen one of these little gadgets, you may have asked yourself, "What the hell is it and how do I use it?" I have one similar to this right now, but mine is only 4 sided. This little thing is called a nail buffer, and it is amazing! When you are finished using it, your nails will be so ridiculously shiny that you will think you have clear nail polish on! Oh, I should probably add that mine only cost 1.00 at Ulta! Ok, so stop talking about it and tell me how to use the damn thing already!
If you have 4 sides(they should be numbered or named), use number 1 (file) like you would a regular nail file.
Number 2 (smooth), 3 (buff), and 4 (shine) you will use all over your nail. I use each side for about 20 to 30 seconds a nail. After the 3rd step, you will notice that your nail is already a little shiny, but the 4th side will blow your mind!
You can find these babies in just about any cosmetic department, but I have realized that few people have ever used them or they just don't know what they are! :) It is such an easy manicure on the go!
It is letter time with Jennifer!
Dear Asshole who took my laundry out of the dryer,
I opened the door to check my clothes, and I realized that they were not mine. I proceeded to look around only to find my clothes tossed up onto a table in the laundry room. I now have wrinkled clothes thanks to you, and since you laid them on a table with only God knows what on it, I am totally disgusted and seriously considering rewashing my clothes. I hope that since you were in such a hurry that you could not wait for me to come and retrieve my clothes from the dryer that you will understand my frustration and forgetfulness. I hope that you enjoy paying the extra dollar and waiting yet another hour for your clothes to dry as when I opened the dryer door I was so irate that I forgot to restart the dryer.
Enjoy your wait Asshole!

The Beach
My husband just reassured me that we could go to the beach today. It is freezing outside, but I am going damn it! I just want to go walk on the beach for 15 or 20 minutes, and I will be happy! I would really like to do that everyday! I wish that it were infact within walking distance because I would probably be able to convince myself to go everyday! Oh and I would like to add that my brilliant husband made the decision to go hop in the pool. It is heated, but it is freezing outside! I went out there, and he says, "It feels really good." I am sure it did until he got out. Hehehehe.
I think we may also go see a movie today...of course. I am thinking Robin Hood! :)

Damn Nap!
I fell asleep on the freakin' couch earlier then moved to the bed! I can't sleep now! I have to be at work at 7:45 this morning (it is almost 2 now)! I knew I should have just stayed in bed! I was stupid for waking up and going back into the livingroom! Rrrr! I just hope I can make it through tomorrow! I will need loads of caffeine!
Soooo my husband is now not working today. :( They tried to lower the amount of pay that they are supposed to give him, but he refused to work. Stupid company and their shady practices! Oh well! Hopefully they will learn from their mistake because they sent someone that doesn't really know what to do at a show, and I hope it bites them in the ass. We could really use that money right now too! I am hoping that the OT I am working will cover for some of it! That is right! The store manager at this store messed up! She didn't have anyone to cover for me today, so she had to pay me a lunch premium! YAY! I got paid time and a half for the time I worked after my first 5 hours PLUS she had me getting off of work at 4:15, but my relief wasn't able to be there until 5:15 soooo even more OT! It freakin' rocks! I know she will be so upset, but it is her fault! :) Who would have thought that these California labor laws would hook me up! Oh! BTW, I have two days next week where the same thing happens! I hope my next paycheck looks good because we will be hurting for money at that point. We have to pay for Jack's class from where he got that attorney. The class is like 375 dollars and that has to be paid for really soon. I am kind of hoping that we can pay half and then pay the rest right before the class. That would really help out! I hate being a slave to the dollar! It royally sucks! It will be nice when his class is paid for though because that is just one less thing that I have to worry about. Oh the stress! Ok I am totally not even going to continue thinking about this, or I will never get to sleep.
OMG! OMG!! I just looked! There are 5 fridays this month! OMG! Thank heavens! That totally helps!

Whoot!
The hubby is working one day this weekend! Thank God for extra money! I applied for a credit card last night, but not to actually use. I have just got to get my credit score up! You would think that paying off credit cards would help you, but it can actually screw you over too! I should have left the cards open when I payed them off, but I cancelled them instead! I was so afraid to get the amounts back up! If I actually get this one, I may write the number down somewhere and cut the card up, or I may just put the card in a safety deposit box. We shall see! I just refuse to have another bill! I am sooo ready for Jack's stupid car to be payed off. I am counting down the months! We should be down to 21 months! Ok, so here are my goals. 1. Get the rent to where we are a month ahead. 2. After we do that, make sure that any extra that the hubby works either goes to pay on the car OR towards plane tickets to visit TN!
Oh Tennessee! How I miss you! I really want to be there next Saturday for Melinda's baby shower! I am really regretting the frequent flyer miles I let someone else use....I wonder if Niobe has some more that she would be willing to give up!? Probably not. You would think with all of the devestation in TN that plane ticket costs would be drastically reduced. Nope! They are about 450 right now for that weekend.
Ok, I totally have to get to bed! I have to be at work at 7:45 in the morning! I also really want to watch Grey's Anatomy!

Ugh
So much for a productive, fun day! I slept in ridiculously late today. :*( I don't even want to tell you how late.
I am totally going to post this here, since I can bitch about it! :) I am just amazed at what parents will let their kids do! My daddy would have never let me out of the house in that let alone out infront of the world to see!
Is that not something that your husband would like to see you in (or that you wish you could pull off)? I mean seriously!

HI!
I seriously think I am talking to myself on here. Oh well. Just say Hi if you read this post! :)
I am off of work today! YAY! It is currently 1:20 in the morning, and I am hoping and praying that I can make the most of the day after I wake up. I really just don't want to lounge around the house. I would love to go to the beach in the morning and take Roscoe to the park. I wonder if Nora is free. It would be cool to hang with her at a local coffee shop. Nope forget about that. She has to study. Bleech. I definitely do not miss that. Ok, so I do a little.
I have totally gained like 7 lbs. :( Sucky! My husband was whining about needing to lose some weight over the weekend, so I think I will be making a South Beach Phase 1 grocery list for real here very soon. It is fine with me. I still have my goal of going home to Tennessee and looking fabulous!
This story totally pisses me off. You know I am a dog lover. I will not even say what I would do if this happened to one of my dogs.
My apartment currently looks like a tornado came through it. This is just another reason that I am bitching about working at this store they have me working at. I do like the people, but working nights and weekends really sucks!
I am about 95% sure I have a UTI. It sucks! I get the sudden urge to pee, and then I go and barely anything comes out. I HATE it! It is driving me crazy.
Oh! I have to tell you our neighbor story. This is me making a mental note to never ever tell Jessica that I blog. Ok. So Jack had to go to the eye doctor on Saturday, but since I had to work he got our neighbors to take him and then they took the dogs to the dog beach. He said when they were parking in our apt parking garage when they got back that Jessica forgot to put the car in park, and the car was rolling backwards. Apparently Alex yelled at Jessica about it right in front of Jack, and this is the worst part of all! Alex says something like "Stop being a cunt..." Who the hell calls their wife a cunt? I HATE that word! You can call me a bitch all day long, but cunt! No! I couldn't believe it! So now Jack and I joke about it all of the time. I am so glad that I have a husband who knows that it is not ok to call his wife a cunt. **It is strange that I have no problem typing the word, but I would say aloud "the c word."**

I figured it out!
I have been wondering who this Tim Kyle guy is on Facebook. He seems to be friends with all of these people that I know. I am guessing that everyone is just accepting him as a friend. I don't know him because **drumroll please** he went to LaVergne. I friended him nonetheless because he does look vaguely familiar. I can't help but wonder if he was one of us skate center people. Oh those were the days. Oh! Did I mention that one of my best friends that I met there over 14 years ago has a wife that is pregnant! I am so excited for them. No, like really excited, and I am not just saying it! This is the first of my really good friends that is going to have a baby! Ok so Jason and I dated several times! He is a great guy, and I am so glad that he and Bridget found each other! They actually met the same year that we met. Ok so you guys totally don't care, but anywho I think it is wonderful!
Have I shown you the super cute picture of my absolutely freakin' adorable nephew!? One super cute picture comin' right up!

Gloating aunt! I know! :) I can't wait until little Hailey is born! I am ready to show her off too!
Funny story of the day...
A guy walks out of the bathroom says hi to someone that he knows. The guy he knows walks into the bathroom after him. I hear a very loud, "Good God!" Hehehehehe I had to control my laughter!
OH! I totally forgot to tell you! I have a bike!!!!! They were freebies! I realized the other day that there were some bikes just sitting in the breezeway. The apartment complex sent a memo out saying that if you leave your bikes out under stairs that they would get rid of them yada yada yada. No one moved them, and the memo was sent out a few weeks ago. There were 4 and the apartment complex moved two of them to the "freebie" spot. This is the spot where they put things that the Salvation Army is going to pick up if we tenants don't take them. :) I was so excited to see the bikes there! They sat there all day, and no one took them so we grabbed them! :) YAY! I can't wait to be able to ride them! One of them has a flat, so that has to be repaired before we can but I am ready!! We can totally bike to the beach or around Back Bay!

Can I just win the freakin' lottery?
Sooo I went to get my oil changed today. Yeah, of course they tell me I need a new rack and pinion. That is 750! Ahhh! They charge 100 bucks and hour for labor out here! What the crap? Of course, they also give me a list of other things that need to be done. Jeez at the end the total was a little over a grand. All I can think of is that, if we were in TN, I could get someone to do this for me so much cheaper! I just don't want to risk driving home! At least, when it is fixed, it will be good for a while.....I hope. Jeez! Oh the cost of the almighty Sentra. We paid out about 3 grand a year and a half ago. Luckily Bennett's does not charge to look at your car because it took them 2 weeks of talking to Nissan people to figure out what was wrong with it. The 3 grand was not only for what was wrong with it. I think that was only about a 1200 bucks of it. Then of course taxes and a few basic things and "is this what the problem" things were done, but hey at least I am not worrying about that stuff now! Just rack and pinion and I need to replace my serpentine belt in the near future.
I found out the other day at work that apparently the store I am helping is supposed to be hiring someone this month to train, so that I can get the hell out of that boring ass store. Thank God! She doesn't seem to be putting much effort into finding someone, but she might want to. I sure as hell don't want the position. I think I may have to take a book tomorrow night because there is nothing to do! I am so ready to go back to normal!

I've had a fairly productive day.
I definitely didn't get everything that I should have gotten cleaned finished, but I got quite a bit done. Now, hopefully my husband will arrive home within the next hour and a half. He will be so tired that he just wants to go to sleep, but at least someone else will be here. When I get off of work tomorrow at 5:30 or whatever time I get off, I will be able to spend a whole day with him. Ahhhhh. I am sure it will be a day of leisure. Maybe just maybe we will go to the beach. NopE, I still haven't been. I should be ashamed of myself.
If you don't already know, Starbucks is having happy hour everyday until the 15th I believe. If you go between 3 and 5, they are selling 1/2 price frapps! :)

Another boring night at the workplace.
Is it the end of May yet? Seriously?!
My husband told me yesterday that he was going to make me dinner, so when I came home for my "lunch" break I would have something to eat. When I got here for my "lunch" break, he had just put it in the oven. :( Sucked. I got stuck going to McDonalds. I have GOT to get back to South Beachin'. This 5 lbs that I have gained has got to go away. Ok, so I seriously think my scale is lying to me! I refuse to believe I have only gained 5 lbs. Oh South Beach.....
I finally found out when my sister in law's baby shower is going to be. It just made me upset though because I really want to be there, and I can't because I am working at this stupid store without the ability to go home for a weekend. :( I just wanna go visit, and I know my MIL would front the money so I could fly home for a weekend!

ehhhh
It is only day 2 of working at this store. I miss seeing my husband already. The store is ridiculously boring at night. I talked to the assistant all night long because there was nothing for us to do! It is freakin' horrible! I don't understand how they can't handle that store with only 3 managers. I just don't get it! They even have multiple cashiers during the day! I don't know why because they don't do any business! The pharmacy does, but the front end is as slow as Smyrna's front end! Ok sorry I know you don't wanna hear me bitch about work, but it is only for a month......it better be only for a month. I really have nothing other to talk about though because well, I really can't do anything else except for go to work. Oh! I can bitch about the fact that my husband has to work on Friday (all day), and that is the day I have off. Of freakin' course! I mean why would I want to see my husband anyway!

Another reason I hate working nights.
I just thought I would say that another reason I hate to work nights is that I dread going to work all morning, and then I have to go to work! It is like being at freakin' work all day long!
To make matters worse! I have gained like 6 lbs! Geez! I totally need to get South Beachin' again!

I hate working nights
I am so heartbroken by all of the flooding going on back home. :*( I just want to be there, so I can help. At the same time though, I wonder if Jack and I being able to move here wasn't a sign that we needed to get away. The apartment complex that I used to live in's bottom floor apts were almost underwater. The parking lot was probably also pretty bad. I could not have a car right now. Instead I am in California, grateful that I can bitch about having to work 4 fucking nights this week because I have a job to go to. There are so many people in Middle Tennessee that don't have a job to go to right now because it is underwater. Not only is it underwater, but they don't know when they will be able to go back to work. A lot of my husband's friends are without work right now because they closed AO Schwartz in Ashland City due to the flooding. That could be us, and we could have kids to feed. It just kills me. I have friends who have been shop vac-ing there floors to get the water out. I am so entirely thankful that I do not know anyone that has lost family due to this tragedy. I am totally pissed because it is not getting the national coverage that it deserves! The people that I work with were a little too nonchalant about it. I said, "That is where I am from. I have friends and family there." No one said, "Oh that is terrible" because they can't see how bad it is there because it is not being covered properly. I did hear someone say, "Yeah, I heard about that" at which point I proceeded to inform them how bad it had gotten for some of my friends.
Ok on a lighter pissier note. I know I have no right to bitch right now, but I am going to anyway. This stupid manager that I am working for this month (cross your fingers it is only a month!) is making me work 4 nights this week. I am also already working 3 nights next week! What the hell? How is that fair? I better only be there for a month! I can understand 1 night or even 2, but there are way too many people at that store that can close to put me working all of those nights. It should be an even amount for everyone! Jack was so upset tonight when he finally realized that I was having to work nights again! He had made me this really nice dinner only to discover that I wasn't going to be home until after 10. I had just gotten back from grabbing some really unhealthy fast food when he arrived with this wonderful dinner. I felt so bad! I didn't have anytime to enjoy it. I was just scarfing it down. I ate the rest when I got home from work. I hate to eat that late, but hell I AM still up and it is currently 1:19 a.m. I can't get to sleep because I worked so late, and I like to wind down. I usually have 4 or 5 hours to do that. Is it June yet?
