The lady totally came through! YAY! We are subletting this bitch out for the last two months of our lease! She is also taking the furniture! We have been talking to the neighbors, and everyone is saying that they are trying to up the rent like 600 bucks a month! WHAT?! I am so freakin' glad we are getting out of this place! We could barely freakin' afford what we were paying!
I am totally sad about leaving California. Just so you know. Please don't think that I wouldn't stay out here if the rent was what it would be in Tennessee! I would love to pay 750 for an apartment and live by the beach!
I am seriously debating on how long I am going to work tomorrow! Honestly, I haven't worked that much this week. I am going to have to have someone put in that I was sick or something, so that my insurance does get messed up. Oh and I still have not heard anything from the Nashville district office. I totally do not want to have to call again. I mean, I will just because I can talk to Margie! :) She always tells me how excited she is that I am coming home. I swear that lady could totally be my grandmother.
I wish the 5 or some lbs that I have gained over the past couple of weeks would go the hell away. I threw my scale away. I am going to buy a new one when I get to Tennessee just to know that perhaps it will work right for a couple of months.
The shirt I am wearing right now makes me look pregnant because of those 5 or so lbs. BOO! I will remember to not wear it again until I lose those lbs.
Oh and by the way, I am totally jealous if your pants size goes down when you lose weight! Just so you know. It is one of the down sides to being a pear shape. I was a 17 in high school, and I am currently wearing an 18? Thank you hereditary big hips!
My apartment is 98% packed! YAY! Everything that is left is sitting on the kitchen counter not taking up too much space. The bed still has 2 comforters and 2 pillows on it, and they will be moved to my car as soon as I get home tomorrow along with the dogs' cages. We will be leaving asap when I get off of work...if I even go. Be home by the 4th?
My husband is totally nervous because of our Ulti McDouchebag ex roommate. He is afraid he is going to try to cause a problem when we are getting this subletted tomorrow. I.E. not show up to sign paper work I told Jack to tell him that if he doesn't want to show up then tell him he can pay the 4000 dollar fee to the apartment complex for not going through with our entire lease. Jack really wants to make him pay part of the application fee for this lady, since UMD broke his lease back in April. Jack told him to take his name off of the lease, and he didn't do it. He could have just paid the 140 to have his name taken off.
I think I am about to run down to the Bayside Rite Aid and drop off all of the cosmetic junk I have in my car. I won't be needing it in Tennessee because we use different set ups.
Oh BTW..went to the beach today. I still think I may go at some point tomorrow too. I was all ahh the ocean until I stuck my foot in the water. It was FUCKING FREEZING! Oh Gulf of Mexico, if I ever live by the beach again, it will totally be somewhere around you. :)
The blog is all about my journey with the South Beach Diet, but it is currently WAY OFF TRACK!

Getting so close....
I have the whole apartment packed minus the livingroom. If it was in a room not packed, it has been moved to the livingroom. I just want to know what I have left. My hubby has been pretty good at packing/cleaning. Well yeah....I guess I should mention that just last week my husband was talking about how he was packing all of the glasses, and how he was going to put them in the trunk of his car to travel. Well...my little brother posts a status update. It says, "Book rate 9.10, Broken glasses 15.00, Price of Jenn's reaction priceless." I was so freakin' confused, so I call my mom. Apparently my husband accidentally (or on purpose. Hell I don't know) shipped the glasses through the post office as media mail! Yeah, well they just assume it is books, and they chuck stuff. Almost every single one of my glasses is broke! My mom says, "It was just like your souvenir glasses." That answer sounds great, but my husband got rid of the other ones because he just wanted to keep those. Yeah...What part of MAKE SURE YOU SHIP THE CORRECT BOXES did he not get? Seriously though, I could really couldn't care less. Those can be replaced with new glasses.
We have a lady coming to look at our apartment tomorrow! I am hoping and praying that she wants to sublet it. She said she just wants to be in town for a couple of months because of court stuff regarding her 2 condos right by the beach that are full of mold! GROSS! She was excited to see that our apartment complex takes dogs. We have been cleaning like crazy. OH PLEASE rent this thing!
Only tonight and tomorrow night left in the apartment. If this lady rents the apartment and does not want my furniture, I will be trying to shove it out the door! I have had several responses to the furniture, but I don't want to sell if if she is going to want to use it.
I got to hang out with Nora one last time tonight. We went to the Irvine Spectrum (a mall) to meet for dinner and coffee (I don't drink coffee. I am more of a tea person.). It was good to see her one last time before I move. I am going to miss her even if we only saw each other every other month. Oh! Have I mentioned I am a horrible friend? Like you might see me one month, and it may be 3 more until you see me again? The good thing about Nora is that she understands that. I seriously hope she comes to visit me in Nashville! OH BTW. The lines for Eclipse were outrageous there! They were showing it on 21 screens! I am not kidding! I am sure that every showing was sold out!
Here is the dumbass of the day story. One of my best guy friends/ex boyfriend's status updates read like this, "Ok people can be stupid. A guy who use to be a friend but backstabbed me actually put me down for a job reference. That's stupid." Here is to hoping that my other exboyfriend does not actually read my blog even though I did give him the link. Actually if he does read it, perhaps this will be a wake up call! Why in the hell would you put someone that you can't stand and that cannot stand you on your references for a job? Umm hello? Do you really think that they will give you a good reference?! They won't! Trust me! I have people all of the time ask me to put in a good word for them at my job because they put in an application, or they ask if they can put me down. What do I do? I say sure! Then I go and tell the manager that they applied with that there is no way in hell they are hiring them! I will not put in a good word for anyone I don't trust 100%. If they screw up, then it falls back on me. I have made my name, and I sure as hell won't let it be tarnished!
I have to go to bed! It is 2:30 in the morning! I gotta go to work in just a few short hours, and I would like to be home in time for this woman to come look at the apartment!

What? A second blog post?
Chatting with Cheyenne on Facebook reminded me about the Huntington Beach Douche Bag. When we were getting our phones the other day, the guy at the store was trying to get me to choose another phone because he thought it would be too complicated for me! I was not really pissed, but a little like, "Seriously? Do you think I am idiot because of my accent?" I had to tell him that my old phone was a windows phone before he finally said, "That makes me feel a lot better." Well dude! I am so glad that that makes you feel a lot better. Shoo this redheaded southern girl is not an idiot! Geez!
The second thing I want to bitch about (this will be very vague and no I am not talking about anyone who reads my blog) is people who act like they hung out with me all of the time while I was in Tennessee. I mean, I have people who are acting like they talked to me the whole time I have been out here and all of the time while I was in TN. When in reality, they were too busy to talk to me when I was there. They were too busy to freakin' come to my apartment while I was packing it up all by my fucking self to come by and just talk to me. That is all I wanted. I posted that as my status about 15 times while preparing for the move out here, and I only had one person ever show up. All of the sudden, since I am coming back from living in California, I am cool enough to talk to or something? I mean I am the same damn person who left. (I am an impatient driver now, but I will adjust.) These same people were also too damn busy to drive across the country with me after they told me they would and then didn't even have the fucking decency to call and tell me that they weren't coming. I am sorry if me having to travel with dogs ruined your idea of a good time. I would also like to add that these same people haven't really talked to me the whole time I have been in California. Ok. I am finished. OK well really I am not, but I will be more than happy to hang out with some of you when I get to Tennessee and bitch some more about it. :)

Blog Post 201!
Stressed out! I am hoping and praying that someone will sublet this apartment. I am so desperate that I am going to give the person that sublets all of my livingroom furniture AND my bed! I don't know if they will want the bed, but PLEASE just rent the damn thing for the summer! I am currently back and forth with someone who is interested! I totally have my fingers crossed!
I went to work this morning for 2 hours, and then I realized I had nothing left to do. I went to see Ashleigh (DMA) afterwards. I got my service award. I am currently attempting to post it from my phone to here. We will see!
My hubby went to court this morning to see if he could be seen early, but it was a no go. He now has to either stay until his court date or pay the attorney 300 bucks to go for him. Rrr! Just more money spent.
My car drives like a dream! I don't know if I have already said this, but OMG! WOW!I forgot what it was like to have a car that steers well!
We have gotten rid of all of our food. We have gotten rid of a bunch of stuff! I really don't think we have to much more to ship. We are just going to throw a lot of stuff in the cars. Jack's car is actually pretty much loaded already! We just have to fill up the back seat! My car will be loaded with the rest of the stuff. I am debating on going ahead and selling my carpet cleaner and vacuum. I hate selling all of my stuff! I know you have heard that over and over and over again! I am ready to be done with all of this stuff. I mean, my mom told me that there are pots and pans at the house already, so I just put what I had by the dumpster. People are like scavengers here! I mean think of all of the stuff I have gotten for free!
I cleaned the spare bedroom today. I am just ready to start shutting doors and putting a sign on them that says, "DO NOT OPEN! THERE IS NOTHING IN HERE!" I did that last year, and you would be amazed at how much better it makes you feel!

HI!
Sooooooo I got a new phone yesterday! It is super freakin' cool! I got an HTC HD2. Look it up! You will be totally amazed and jealous at all this phone does! I mean it freakin' plays movies! We hooked it up to the PS3 and watched a movie that is on the phone on the TV. Yep...be jealous! :) This new phone means that I can now update you in the middle of the day! YAY! I can send a text message to blogger, and it will make it a new post! This new phone also means that you will be following me across the country with all of the photos I take! YAY!
Soo lets see! Yesterday, yesterday. Ahh. I went to Tustin for the last time yesterday. :*( It was sad! I am going to miss those people! I got crap all day for leaving (as expected). I came home we were going to go to the movies and wound up at the T Mobile store. Ditched the movie idea and came home. Oh and I totally had my husband's keys all day, so he couldn't do anything until I came home.
Today! We shipped a few boxes. We dropped my car off!!!! We got rid of some of the things that we got for free. They went back into the free pile where they belong. We went to the Long Beach Aquarium! It totally sucked! I did get to see the Queen Mary from afar though! YAY! We were going to go check it out, but it was too late! We got a call while at the aquarium that my car was finished, paid the bill over the phone, and went to pick my car up. I swear I think my car steers better now than it did when I first bought it. I can steer with ONE count it ONE finger! I was amazed when I started to drive! Just think I won't have to buy power steering fluid for a VERY long time! OMG! It is going to be a dream driving my car now! We then went to Mutt Lynch's for the final time. :( I really like that place! It is right on the beach!
OH! My hubby went to the leasing office to find out how much longer we have on our lease. 2 months. They say that if we can't find someone to sublet for 2 months that we will have to pay about 4000 bucks. What the hell!? Apparently this was infact a 14 month lease and not a 12 month lease! Why the hell did they sign a 14 month lease? I am sure it was the cheaper option, but that is a long freakin' time! OH AND! My husband has one more court date for that stupid crap back in December. This one is just to say that he went to that class. Well that class is July 8th! Ummmm we are totally not going to be here then! He has to go to the courthouse and hope they will see him early! I mean, all they have to do is go, "Yep followed the court order. NEXT!" I am so ready for this crap to be officially done!
OH AND last but not least! I know that moving is stressful but try moving across country! I don't know how many times recently I have wanted to tell my husband to shut the hell up. I told him today that I have done this before, and he has not! He had the luxury of being in California while I moved all of our crap out here the last time.
That is all! :)
I have totally decided that I am going to have to ask my mother for travelling money. :( I hate asking for money, but she has repeated several times that if I need anymore money to let her know. Had I not had to have my car fixed (oh and btw it cost more than anticipated...of course right?), I wouldn't have to ask for money.
I am about to head to bed.

Off track...
Ok, so I have totally given up on my diet until about the 3rd week in July. I am hoping everything will be back to normal then. I also hope that restarting officially (since this past time hasn't been a total hit, but definitely not horrible either..I have lost some weight) around the time that I first tried South Beach Diet will hopefully help me go full force into losing the next pounds towards my goal weight.
I found out today that they sent a mass e-mail about me leaving to at least all of my stores. I hate that! I wish I could have told my last couple of stores myself before they did that. I should have just gone ahead and told my managers. Oh well! Tomorrow I have to go to the store that I will get the most grief (all in fun of course). Tomorrow will also be a Coffee Bean day! I am totally going to miss that place! I love it! It is so much better than Starbucks. Oh! Anyone up for meeting at the Starbucks in Smyrna when I get back?! I drink the cold stuff, but meeting at a coffee shop is one of the things that I would like to continue once I get to Tennessee. I had no idea how much I would actually enjoy that when I got here although being close to a mall you can walk around is also nice. Oh Fashion Island! I never bought anything from any of the stores in you, but it was nice just to walk around and pretend that I could afford things (or hell wear things) in the Juicy Couture store. Honestly, I don't know why I even say that I HATE shopping for clothes. I have no fashion sense whatsoever! If I am wearing something cute, my husband picked it out for me. Seriously! I am also not a shoe girl. There I said it. I will wear flipflops 365 days of the year. I will wear flipflops when it is flurrying outside. If I didn't ever have to wear socks again (except in my tennis shoes), I wouldn't!
So my husband told me he wants to leave next Thursday night or Friday morning. Eek! I was kind of going for the weekend, but at least I should have a week with the family before my little brothers start back to school, and I start back to work. I hate using one of my vacations to travel! Did I mention that if I do get this store, my vacation time will be messed up! Rrr...Totally didn't think of that. I guess I will just have to use one of my "weeks" as a weekend trip instead. Sounds like Fall Break in Gatlinburg for me!
My husband shipped all of my books and our DVDs today. I packed up almost all of my clothes into one box (like I said I hate shopping), and he is going to ship those tomorrow. We still have a pile of laundry that needs to be done, and then I should have another box of clothes/towels/sheets to send. I cleaned out both closets today. All that is left in there are some of my clothes for work and a ton of hangers! I am really glad plastic hangers aren't crazy expensive because some very lucky person is probably going to get every single one of these for free. We are also giving away our blue cubes. :( Ok, so this really isn't sad, but they have served me well. They are so cool too because you can choose how you want them set up, but I do believe I will have a dresser in Nashville! I am sure someone will get that for free too.
Ok it is officially bedtime like 2 hours ago.

Ok it is officially bedtime like 2 hours ago.
I hate feeling indifferent about moving!
My husband FINALLY stopped playing his stupid World of Dorkcraft game! Geez! I thought he would never get off of the computer!
I cannot believe that in 14 days I will be back in Tennessee not having to pay rent. I had to throw that in there because I know that is the real reason we are moving back. We want to be close to family too, but at the same time I just wish they would all move out here. If only it weren't so damn expensive! I REALLY want to do everything that I want to do before we move back, but there just isn't enough time or money. It really sucks! I feel like I have been on vacation, and I am the only one who isn't totally ready to go home to sleep in their own bed. I would be perfectly happy on permanent vacation in homes that have all of the necessary things. Just go home ocassionally to visit the family, and then go back to enjoying the vacation. Oh to win the lottery! Nah...it sounds nice, but I would probably get tired of it!
I finally got to tell my boss today about me moving. I had to tell him over the phone which was not desired, but he was in meetings all day today. He told me he was glad I was getting a better opportunity in Nashville. Now, I just dread telling the Tustin store. They will probably already know by the time I get there on Friday. I don't plan on working next Friday, so this Friday will be my last day at that store. I have worked there the most, and they really took me in. :( I am sad to say goodbye to them.
For some reason, I am getting nervous about this whole store manager position. I totally shouldn't be though because I totally have it in the bag and I know I can run a store. It is just nice to worry about something other than moving. I just keep thinking that I am going to have to walk in there and be a total bitch on the first day. Why isn't this done? What's up with the mess in the stock room? This will not do. :) Ok, so seriously! I cannot wait to scare the hell out of them. :) I would also like to add that I should be making the same amount or more than I would have teaching. I know I have a degree, and I do want to use it. I just want to use it in an HR position! Being a store manager, will put me one step closer to my goal! The previous HR talent manager told me that if I were a store manager that it would be much easier to be promoted to HR. :)
BTW, I am totally proud of my husband! He has been packing up stuff all by himself! I didn't even have to bitch today! Way to take initiative hubby! I don't want to have to pack barely anything my last couple of days here. I just want to have it shipped! Hopefully it will almost be there by the time we show up!
Our food place of the day that we don't have in Tennessee was Flame Broiler! I don't know what I am going to do without that place. Healthy Fast Food! It is awesome. You can get a chicken veggie bowl with brown rice for around 5.50! Hopefully they will start popping up in the Nashville area soon!

It is official!
I have applied for my job in Nashville! I got an e-mail from Margie this morning! She asked me to call her ASAP! They wanted me to apply for the store manager position online! YAY! She said that Mark was looking into me being the store manager at the Smith Springs store! Ok, I really wanted that store! Here is the problem with that store.....I have said this so many times! They need to tear that store down and start all over again. It is always in a hole. Ehh! Let's hope I can get it out of the hole! I am sure you will be hearing me bitch about it soon enough! Here is the great thing about that store! I can work MONDAY through FRIDAY in the morning! I have the option to close one night a week...we will see if I decide I want to do that! I probably will just to be fair. I can't wait! I was the assistant over there one summer and practically acted as the store manager while I was there.
I still haven't been able to tell my boss yet. I went to his office this morning, but he never came in. I told Ashleigh that I would just call him. I hate to tell him over the phone, but it doesn't look like I will have a choice. :( Sucky!
We started packing some more stuff today. My husband has already packed up all of our bowls and glasses. I went through all of my lotions and got rid of a bunch of stuff. I took it over to the neighbors. I hope they will use, since I was not. My husband is acting like I will be able to take my vacuum cleaner! I want to take my carpet cleaner too. So the lamps, endtables, carpet cleaner, and vacuum cleaner...PLEASE FIT IN A CAR!

OK nosey people. :)
Here ya go!
So I came home from work today, and I noticed the patio door was open. I freaked out! I thought I had left it open because it was too early for Jack to be home. I walk through the apartment gate, and Jack is just walking back with the laundry. I say something about him being home early, and he tells me we will talk about that when we get inside. He hands me a letter from the company he was working for that says he is being terminated. It explains all of the "reasons." All of which are bullshit. I have a feeling someone caught wind that he was getting ready to quit, or his I don't care attitude that he has had the past week did it. He said that his boss didn't even have the courtesy to do it. They had the office manager and one of the guys he works for (?) do it. The other guy didn't even know what was going on until the office manager made him read it to Jack. Like I have said before SHADY ASS COMPANY! Jack didn't care. He made that pretty known too apparently. They tried to tell him he was going to have to be escorted out. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! What I think is hilarious is that he had already brought most if not all of his personal tools home. He did say he left the IPod cable there, but I am sure we will have no problem finding another one of those.
This brings me to the fact that I have to tell my boss tomorrow! I was hoping I could give him a month's notice, but that is definitely not happening now. We can't afford to pay July's rent without Jack's paychecks, so we will be out by the end of this month. I sent Margie in Nashville an e-mail telling her when I would be able to start. Hopefully they will either give me a store or let me continue with what I have been doing out here! We shall see soon enough I guess! I just really want a way to be able to control my own schedule.
On the plus side, my car should be fixed on Wednesday! YAY! I won't have to continuously buy power steering fluid anymore!
I should be there in time to see my niece on her birthday, and I will finally meet my nephew! YAY!
For now though, I am throwing all of my shit into boxes and starting the UPS process. One day at a time until I leave. I just wish that I had somewhere to sleep my last night here! I am sure we will have ditched the bed by the last day. If not, I guess we will just leave it in the apartment.

I'm comin' home
OK, so you ya'll already knew that, but it just got moved up to the point of OH FUCK!
Yeah, we will be leaving here by the end of this month! We will be back in TN in early July! I will be there (hopefully) to meet my niece on her birthday! YAY! I can't wait to meet my nephew! So much for doing everything I want to do out here before we leave! Oh well! More about all of this later because I know you nosey people wanna know why!

Tomorrow...
I think tomorrow will be the first day of packing. I really have no desire to wait until the last minute. I want to be down to the bare minimum as soon as possible, so I can fit my end tables and my lamps in a car! I am freakin' determined!
I also intend to tell my district manager tomorrow if I get a chance! I am also going to send Margie in Nashville an e-mail telling her that I will be back to work in TN on August the 9th! There is another store that just opened up, and I WANT IT! I want the ability to make my own schedule and piss other people off because they don't like theirs! :) Ok, so I won't be too terrible about it, but I would refuse to work more than one night a week. I am ready to be able to talk about my move out here though. I feel like I am keeping a secret from everyone, and I would really like to sell some of my stuff to people I know.
I was thinking about it today, and I realized that Jack and I will only have 1 small closet in our bedroom! We have NEVER had 1 closet! Luckily there is another closet in the spare bedroom, so one of us will have to use that one. Going down to one bathroom sucks too AND it doesn't have a shower! Bleech! Oh well FREE IS FREE! I will rejoice anytime I go to someone's house, so I can take a normal shower!` Maybe I can get my brother in law to come in and put a shower in! OMG! Thank God I have a plumber and an electrician in the family! I will have a WASHER AND DRYER! YAY! I was thoroughly pissed when my husband told me that I would not have one here at our apartment (the laundry room is right down the hall). I had to give away my washer and dryer to a friend. If you know anyone that is planning to get rid of a dryer within the next couple of months please let me know because my mom told me that the dryer doesn't work that well! The washer is new though! YAY! No more community washing machines or people that I don't know taking my clothes out of the dryer!
Our adventure of the day was going down to Balboa Peninsula. We had to valet because it was packed down there for Father's Day. We were going to eat at Harborside, but they were full and only taking reservations. We wound up on the Angela Louise Riverboat instead. The tacos are AWESOME! We walked around for a little bit, and then went home. Nothing too exciting. I am seriously considering becoming a member of the San Diego Zoo after a little research. For a Dual Membership (Jack and me) it is 99 dollars. That includes entrance into both parks and a few free things. If we want to go to both parks, we will be forced to spend 70a person without it! CRAZY! I can't wait to do a San Diego day trip!

Sleepy!
I am sleepy *gasp*, so this will be quick!
We actually did something today that we haven't done yet! We went to Medieval Times! It was a blast! The food was ehhh, but the show was great! We got BOGO tickets, and then by some random chance my husband thought to buy a scratch off! He won 60 bucks! That totally paid for our show! YAY! We were seriously considering going to Disney today, but we were both afraid that he would have a panic attack in the park. I DO NOT want to experience that! I told him we could go to DisneyWorld sometime! Disney really is something that you have to do. It is just so damn expensive!
I picked up a ton of brochures today, so hopefully we will have the time and cashflow to do several more things!
In front of Medieval Times, what did my eyes behold?! A FUCKIN' PoFolks! That is right ladies and possible gentlemen, good ol' southern cookin'! I cannot wait to eat there! Ooooooo! Fried okra! Country fried steak! Yummmm! I told ya.... fat cow! No seriously, I think that I might have gained a lb, but it is totally my own fault for cheating a couple times this week! Honestly, I don't know because my scale can never decide what I actually weigh! I think that scale is going to scale hell before I leave California. Tomorrow I already have plans for bacon and eggs, so tomorrow should be a good day. I think part of my problem now is that I want to eat at the places that are here and not in TN. When I get to TN, I am going to want to eat at the places I haven't seen in a year. Ehh!
I got a call from the Nashville district office saying that they would definitely have a spot for me when I get there. Here is to hoping a manager quits or gets fired (for something that they shouldn't have been doing) right when I arrive in town! My sister in law also informed me that the dentist she works for will be looking for a PR/Marketing person here very soon. I thought he was looking for this before I left TN. Maybe he changed his mind and then again again. Anyway...4 day work week, free dental (my husband totally needs that), AND 3 paid vacations a year that are guaranteed to be at the same time as school closures! Dr. Chitwood is awesome! He closes his office for Spring Break, once for a vacation in summer, and a week near Christmas! That job sounds VERY tempting. Is it horrible that I immediately said, "I wonder if I could do that and work part time for RA." Why the hell would I want to do that?! What on earth am I thinking? RA better have a worthwhile position for me!
I know that really wasn't short.

Going through Jennifer's blog withdrawals yet?
I must start this blog by telling you that I am a fat cow. I seriously think PMS is messing with my diet plans. It is bad. I also have decided that I have to buy a new scale as soon as I get back to Tennessee. I step on the scale once and it tells me I weigh less. The next time I step on the scale it says I weigh 5 or 10 lbs more than it said 30 seconds before. RRRRR! So what is it damn scale?
Just incase you missed this on Facebook...
Dear Lady Cellphone Loud Talker,
I now know that you hate your insurance company because it doesn't pay for enough. I know that you are making your friend sit next to Michael, and you hope that won't be an issue. I also know that you are going to be gone all weekend long from your home. Be glad I am not a purse thief. I could find out where you live and rob you.
Dear Wonderful Barrista at the Coffee Bean,
Thank you so much for the free English Breakfast Tea Latte! I had no idea what I wanted, and you picked the perfect drink for me to try and then gave it to me FOR FREE! You were awesome only for that until you told me that you would also give me a Southern Tea Blend Tea Bag along with some no sugar added vanilla powder. I don't know what made you think to give me the hook up today, but I am so glad you did! I'll see ya next Friday!
I am currently trying to decide if I want to go ahead and run to my store I have to go to in the morning. I will hit 8 hours away from the store at 1:36. That is less that an hour away. I just need to work for about 4 hours.
I told Jack yesterday that I want to do as much as possible here before we move back. I don't want to leave and say, "I wish we would have..." He wants to go to some concert tomorrow. Well actually it is more like some huge country music concert with a lot of well known singers. I am not entirely sure about that, but we shall see. I guess if he can get us in for free, I will be happy. I just really don't want to have to pay. Also, we could totally do that in TN!
We went to see Jonah Hex tonight. It was an hour and twenty minutes! That was it! Is that not ridiculous?! He really wanted to see it though. We were going to sneak into Toy Story 3, but the one we walked into was full. :( I am sure there would be way too many kids in there to really enjoy it.
I forgot to tell you about the mascara! Sooo the Falsies is actually pretty good! Compared to my regular mascara, it does in fact make them longer and fuller! Love it! The glitter mascara is not so wonderful. :( It is not so sparkly. I only saw one sparkle when I put it on. Hate it. :(

My name is Jennifer, and I am addicted to blogging.
I mean seriously?! Do you guys think I have nothing better to do than blog? I mean when I start blogging 3 and 4 times a day. Does this mean I am an addict? Sometimes I really have nothing to say, but others my brain is going 90 miles an hour.
So my purpose for this blog is to tell you how many BMI points I have lost since the beginning of the year. Misty made mention of her's, and it made me want to see how many points I have lost. Drumroll Please! I started at 41.5, and I am now at 34.9! I still need to lose 10 points to be in the healthy range, but I am not even thinking about that! I would seriously have to have lost almost 100 lbs total to be in the healthy range for my height! WHAT!? Is that even possible? That isn't even my goal! My goal weight will put me at 27.4 which still classifies me as overweight. Honestly, when I hit my goal weight I will be totally proud of myself. I already am, but I will be even more proud!
Oh I had a pretty good phase 1 day! I ate a little itty bit of rice with lunch, but that was only because I didn't want to order a salad. The bowl was still full of rice, once I was finished eating all of the goodness that I can eat off of the top!

Looking over last year's receipts...
So I just looked at last year's UPS receipts, I spent around 600 to UPS everything that I deemed absolutely necessary to send at the time. I never sent anything else out here thankfully. The rest is all sitting in my parent's shed. I also sent all of my books out here for around 50 bucks through the postal service. I think this time though, I may also send all of our DVDs also. The post office has a smaller fee if you are just shipping media somewhere. You tell them it is books, and they give you the good deal! I think I may have tossed a couple of other things in one of my boxes the last time too. Thankfully they did not check the box! :) Here is the link so you know just how cheap it is.
We really haven't bought anything this year, so that is good! We also will have two vehicles that we can fill with stuff too. Last year I really could send that much out with Jack's car because there was a lb limit. I sent all of our DVDs in his car plus a few small basic things that he needed. (Contacts, solution, shampoo, etc)
I know the dogs have to go in my back seat. Luckily this go around, I will have someone helping me with the dogs. I remember last year I left my air conditioner on full blast, and I would walk Kasey and Maverick and then Roscoe. My trunk was full to the brim with electronics, photos, dishes, and whatever else I was afraid to UPS. My front seat was full of everything my mom had put together for me for my drive. Food, drinks, a backpack with clothes and basic tolietries.
I will never forget the morning I left my parents' house to come out here. I woke up. I had slept in my youngest brother's bed (Will) overnight. I went downstairs, and my mom had made breakfast. Then I waited as long as I could to leave. I started slowly getting everything together. The dogs were in the backyard. My mom helped me get everything I needed placed just so it would fit in my car. I got the dogs in the car. I said my goodbyes and I love yous, and I refused to cry because this was a happy day for me. I was so happy to have the opportunity to do something that most people will never get the chance to do. I was so happy to go on an adventure. I was thrilled to drive across country! I got in my car, backed out of the drive way, looked at the house that I grew up in, and told it goodbye too. I got to the stop sign, and I burst into tears. I drove the long way out of Smyrna. I could have just hopped on 24 to 40, but instead I drove by Nissan, Wal-mart, the Waffle House. I went down Weakly Lane and got on 840 from there and drove all the way down to 40. Once I got on 40, I just drove.
Driving across country is easy. Hop on 40 and drive until you get to California. Getting to the coast is a whole other story.
I already know I will be in tears when we hit the Tennessee stateline. I don't think I will be able to stop, once I know I am that close to home.

Whoot!
Whoot! I have another follower! YAY! That is 2 in 2 weeks!
Whoot! I am down to 216! YAY! That means I am down 41 lbs total this year!

I bought two different mascaras today! I will let you know what I think! The first is Maybelline's new Falsies! It is supposed to make your eyelashes look as full as if you were wearing false eyelashes. I totally don't need that, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. I also bought some Maybelline Collosal Volume Diamonds mascara that has sparkles in it. I am slightly concerned about getting glitter in my eye, but I will try it anyway. :)
I haven't exercised at all. I told myself I would start doing it when I got off of work, but I still haven't. I need to get up earlier, so I can make it home before it starts to get dark. Also! What am I going to do once we move? Where the crap am I supposed to exercise? The house is in an ok neighborhood, but I am not exactly sure I want to walk around it. Eeek....I may have to fork out the bucks for a gym membership, or decide to go into Smyrna or M'boro for the greenway.
I talked to my mom earlier about the big move. I swear my mom is like my therapist some days. I am just going to go ahead and start boxing stuff up to ship UPS home. Ugh. I am giving in on selling the couch....I am determined to keep my end tables and lamps. Moving is so freakin' expensive! I also need to go to the 99 cent store and buy another Home Sweet Home sticker for the wall! Anyone else want one? They are just as good as the 20 dollar ones! I hope they still have them when I go back!
I haven't heard anything about a position in the Nashville district yet. I WANT THAT STORE! I would try to go home even earlier just to get it! I do not want to be stuck as a Shift Supervisor! I wanna make some more money!
I am sure I will be back on here with my brain reeling later. :)

Commenting on a Facebook status...
My friend just said that it was probably the first time she had worn a scrunchie in 15 years or so. Ummm I wear one almost every day. Does that make me a bad person? I mean she is wearing it for Wacky Tacky day. Am I tacky?

Yes, I am still awake!
I am a freak! If I wanted to sleep right now, I couldn't! I did this last year too! I worry about everything! Sooo now I have been contemplating this whole selling everything idea. I have been looking at furniture online in Nashville. Have ya'll ever heard of Bargain Barn Dealer? I think I found a couch on there really similar to mine for only like 600 bucks after tax .HERE. The color is much darker. That would be a pro with the dogs. I couldn't believe it when I saw my husband had bought a light colored couch! I am sure that was the ex roommates idea! I wonder how much it would cost to ship the bottoms of my end tables. The tops come off. They could just go into my car. They are the heavy part. Oh no wait that company is in Georgia! I wonder if they will ship to Nashville super cheap. Jeez! I do not want to have to spend another 1000 bucks on a freakin' couch! My husband better find a job quick when we get there!
Why do people have to sell there old shit on Craigslist and call it vintage? You think I am kidding? Go look! Just because it is a lamp from 1980 that has flowers on it does not make it vintage or an antique.
I totally think I am about to go take a shower and cry. Why can my husband go to sleep so easily? The thought of having to sell my furniture that I just got is making me miserable and sad. :( I mean it is just stuff. Why am I so attached?

Just so you know how much of an excessive worrier I am..
The archived May was last year when we decided to move out here!
BTW...what the hell am I going to call my blog when I move back? South Beachin' on the Southern Turf....Hahaha. I actually like that. I was just kidding when I typed that! Southern Turf is the name of the street that we will be living on! I actually lived on Southern Turf until I was 4! I used to walk to my grandparents' house to spend the night all of the time!

Ugh
I am already super fucking stressed about this move. Bleech! WHY are we doing this practically last minute move again? OMG! I have been scouring the internet trying to find a moving company. I think I am just going to have to suck it up and sell my crap! I totally don't want to do that AGAIN! I just got this damn furniture, and I like it! I am so tired of reading, "Free Moving Quote." Then it wants all of your information. I want a quick answer not a "A representative will contact you shortly." Just send it to me in a fucking e-mail! Is it that damn hard? I know you want to provide good customer service, but JEEZ! I just want a quick and simple answer without talking on the phone to someone who is going to try and convince me that I need to go with their company. It takes me approximately 2.5 seconds to say, "Nope, too expensive!" Seriously! It is CRAZY expensive, and I am beginning to think not worth it to send all of this stuff home.
Another plus to me moving home!!! I get to drive across country AGAIN! YAY! My husband will be close by, BUT I am driving my car! YAY! I can listen to my own music (did I mention that he is the world's worst about listening to half a song and then finding something else!), and take pictures as I drive like I did last year! Oh no! Ya'll missed that! It might become a three day constant blogging if I can. Last year, I used my Palm Treo to upload tons of pictures and talked about what I was seeing (you can find all of the pics on Facebook). I kept in contact with people via Facebook. Yes, while driving! Hell there is nobody out there most of the time just you and maybe 3 or 4 other cars. If you have never had the opportunity to drive across the US, it is definitely something you have to do at least once (and by yourself if you can stand it...trust me I did not get bored. I was so amazed the entire trip! I am perfectly content by myself). You do not know how beautiful the country is until you get to really see all of the scenery for yourself. What was really cool about my original trip was all of the people I met along the trip that were making the same trek as me (I know, I know don't talk to strangers! Thanks mom!). I totally wish I could go ahead and take the dogs to TN, in my car then fly back here and drive it with Jack. I REALLY want to see the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, Cadillac Ranch, and of course the World's Biggest Ball of String! Honestly, we might be able to do a couple of those things this time, since there will be two of us to control the dogs.
I don't know why I am remembering this, but I just did. Have you people near M'boro heard of the United Grocery Outlet? I have missed this place all year long! If you haven't been you HAVE to go! Just make sure that you check the dates on it before you buy anything. A lot of the food they have is indate, but it is very shortdated. Anyway, it looks like a shit hole from the outside, but you wouldn't believe the awesome deals I have gotten from that place! It is on the corner of Broad and Church St. right outside the square, close to the police department. They almost always have really good whole grain wheat bread there for about a dollar. They have tons of cereal, frozen foods, cheese!,

I'm cheating for dinner.
Just thought you should know. Today is my one cheat day this week (meaning the first seven days of phase one and not Sunday thru Saturday). Honestly, I just didn't feel like cooking dinner. I am too exausted to cook from thinking about this moving crap. Ugh.
We have to decide if we are going to just rent a U-haul (which is outrageous BTW) or just do what we did the first time. SELL EVERY PIECE of furniture we own. <----I really like my stuff. :( I am totally sad. I know we can buy stuff that is similar, but you remember how much time I spent looking for the perfect furniture to go with my couch that costed way too much! On the plus side, we can get a new bed.... not that ours isn't less than a year old. GEEZ! Does anyone know of a really cheap moving company that will go across country? I wanna keep my stuff! I can't have a yard sale here, so I will be forced to Craigslist everything. Luckily we haven't purchased a ton of stuff, since we moved last year. I think it costed around 600 bucks to ship our crap UPS the last time. I still have the receipts, so I will have to look. Hey...we WILL get our super awesome TV back!
I told my mom today. She is super happy. She was trying to ask me all of these questions that Jack and I haven't even gotten to yet. We just talked about it yesterday.
I called Margie at the Nashville district office today. She asked when I was coming backI asked her about the store in Goodlettsville needing a manager, and she said that as far she knew they were still looking for someone!!!!! YAY! Let's hope I get this position! I also stressed to her the importance of NOT TELLING ANYONE! I practically begged her to not tell anyone. She said she would only tell Mark. I imagine the Smyrna store started gossiping about me coming back about 15 minutes later. Rite Aid has no secrets, and everyone knows it (it's even like that here). The only difference now is that no one will talk to me about it on Facebook. Honestly, I really hope that she did not mention it to anyone because I don't want Rebecca (she is my former manager) to know yet. I am afraid she will sabotage the people she has and make them quit to get me back. I would rather try and get promoted. I don't want to be stuck as a shift supervisor FOREVER! I want to go to store manager, and then try to move up into an HR position. My next step to transfer is to get a call from Margie or Mark to see if they have a spot they can put me in, and then I have to tell my district manager out here.

Decisions decisions
If you know my family or anyone that I worked with in TN, please don't repeat what I am about to say because it is not official yet and please no facebook comments either. :)
Soooo it is looking highly likely that we will be moving back to Tennessee. We have been weighing the pros and cons. There are way more pros to moving back to Tennessee than not. We just keep going back to the money we will be able to save up. Even if we weren't able to do that, we still have family there. We could purchase a house quicker there. It is much cheaper to raise a family there. It could be sooner than later. We won't have to renew our lease that is up in August. We won't have to register my vehicle here. I will be able to move up with Rite Aid in Tennessee, since they actually know me and how I work there. P.S. There is a store manager position open out there. I plan on calling Margie in the morning. Is this a sign? Were the earthquakes a sign to get the hell out too? The thought of having to move all over again sucks, but at least we will be able to live free for a little while. We will also be closer to our niece and nephew! That is totally exciting to me! Ugh all of those boxes to pack. Bleech! I dread the temperature there too. That is one of the things that I would definitely miss about California! The weather! On a plus note, if we move back to Tennessee, I won't have to hear my husband talk about sending Kasey to live with his mom! That was one of his pros. I can tell that he really doesn't want to do that but feels like he has to if we stay here. I would love to say that we make more money out here than we would in Tennessee, but that is definitely not true! We are making a Tennesseans salary in California. It works, but it is definitely not easy. I would rather know that I have extra money left over each month rather than scraping to make sure that we can pay the rent. If we move, July will be the last month of rent we will have to pay. Then all of the money that we worked for in July will be money to help us move/get settled. I think I am going to go ahead and start grabbing boxes at the stores I am working at, so I will know that I am preparing if this really does happen. Good thing I work at stores on their load days!

Just got a letter
I just got a letter from MTSU's records office to inform me that they are holding my diploma because I owe money. Have I told ya'll about that? I have a degree, but no diploma or proof of the fact that I have it because I haven't paid the library 14.00 in late fees. I wonder if they will let me pay it over the phone or by check. Horrible isn't it? I have a degree to hang on the wall, and it is just sitting in the records office waiting for me to pay. Oh...I graduated back in 07. I guess I should mention that it HAS already been over 2 years! I think it is time to pay up. Then I can start looking into possibly getting my masters or finishing out my education minor.
......
My husband just said the scariest thing to me. He got out of his last day of that class and came home. I had stayed home today just because I was being lazy. I have to work Saturday. Blah blah. Ok so anyway. The scariest thing. My husband got home and read his e-mail, and I guess a lot of people were trying to give him grief about his class and having to take a day off of work. He looks at me and says, "If they say anything, I may just throw my hands up in the air." (This was as he was leaving to go into work after getting out of the class early.) Does that mean quit and move back to TN? I know he said the other day that the offer was really tempting. I mean all of our family is in Tennessee. Hmmm.. I am totally for it and totally not sure at the same time, but our lease is almost up. It is definitely something that will be considered every year we have to renew a lease. OOOOOORRRR we could just go live in my grandfather's house for FREE and save lots o money for when we do buy a house...I am thinkin' babies too! Think about all you could do without a house or rent payment. :)
Food today is so far so good! :)

Successful Day 3!

I have successfully gotten through day 3 without cheating! I did get hungry a few times today which is odd for me. I usually eat because I am bored. I guess my metabolism has been kicked up a notch! :) Here is to hoping that the scale has moved in the morning!
I start back to my regular job tomorrow! YAY! AHHH! I am so excited! Once I am completed with my work, I can leave if I want. Ugh! I wish I were salary!
I think I forgot to tell you! I tried jicama yesterday! I could not believe it! It was ACTUALLY good! It almost tastes/looks like a cross between a potato and an apple. It wasn't as sweet as an apple, but I tossed it in a little bit of Splenda and ate it raw. Apparently the mexican community squeezes lime on it. I am not quite sure about that, but I may try it eventually. What I did not like about it was that it left my mouth a little dry. I could also tell which pieces were closest to the skin because they were tougher than the other pieces. Tough pieces not so good. I also did a little experiment with it. I read online that a lot of people cook jicama like a potato. I thought, "Hey! Mashed jicama! It is worth a try!" I was horribly unsuccessful. I don't know if I didn't boil it long enough, but I thought 30 minutes would be long enough. I am going to check online to see if there is a trick. I should have tried just throwing it in a bowl and mixing it or even using a blender on it. It was good just boiled though with a little salt and a dash of milk. It tasted like boiled potato. So, if you can find it in the grocery store, try it! :) It is less starchy than a potato, so it goes just fine with my phase 1 restart!
Beginning of day 3
I did pretty well on day 2. I felt like I ate too much, but that is a common feeling for me when south beachin'. I am just ready to have this day over with, so it will be even easier to say no to the bad stuff. I am already down 5 lbs. I am sure it is all water weight, but it is still fun to see go. :)
Yesterday was my last day at that store! Back to normal on Monday!
Our sink is backed up AGAIN! I really don't wanna have to call them to get them to come fix it again, but it looks like I have no choice! Perhaps if they would actually figure out what the problem actually is, I wouldn't have to go through it again!

Restart!
Yep! I restarted Friday! GO ME! I did really well the first day. Here is to watching the number decrease on the scale!
I fell asleep on the couch really early today, so I am wide awake at 3:30 in the morning. I have to be at that store in like 4 hours, but at least it is my last day! FINALLY back to normal on Monday! Whoop! I will be back to sleeping normally! YAY!
I think I am going to attempt the sleep thing again here in a minute.

I'm about to sound like I don't appreciate living by the ocean.
I think that people that vacation at the beach like to pretend that the people who live there don't have to have jobs. I keep reading all of these status updates about people's vacations, and how they want to live there. Blah! Umm hello! I live right next to the beach, and I haven't been there in a couple of weeks! I don't get to go everyday. I would love to, but that requires either going by myself or convincing my husband to go after he gets off of work. Relaxing by the beach while you are on vacation is so much different than relaxing by the beach when you get off of work. I mean you get off of work, drive home, and THEN you have to get your chairs together for the beach, get back into your car that you just sat in for an hour, and drive to the beach, pay to park, get out with all of your beach stuff, and then take all of it down to the beach, relax before the sun goes down, grab all of your stuff, get back to the car, drive back home, and leave your beach stuff in your car until the next day. Ugh, now I see why we only go to the beach on the weekend. Another thing that is different is when I go on vacation to the beach (I don't know about ya'll), I forget all of my every day worries. I don't worry about bills or what I am forgetting to take care of. I just enjoy my worry free vacation with family. If I forgot something, I will just grab it at the Wal-mart. I wish I could do that here. I would have to take a week off of work just to enjoy the beach and pretend like I am on vacation.
I think all of that came from the offer my mom offered me this afternoon. You already know she offered to fly me home. Well today she offers to move me home. My hubby was totally not going for that one. He and I feel the same way about California. It isn't home. We would love to be home, but we love it here too. I just wish I could fly home at any given time. Then at the same time, I know how much cheaper it is to live in TN. I was looking on a foreclosure website tonight, and there was a house on there 2br/2ba that was only 79,000 (in TN). I know foreclosures are not always ideal, but I am just giving an example. I mean, if Jack and I were to move back to TN, we could live at my grandfather's house for free. My grandfather is currently in an assisted living place by choice. We could save up money for a down payment on a house while living there. All of the money we spend here just to pay the rent. We could have a house payment that is sooo much cheaper than what we pay now! It really is tempting. After hearing how much my brother and his wife are going to have to pay just to put Hailey in daycare, it totally scares me out of even giving birth in California. I mean if it costs that much to put a child in daycare there, I can only imagine what it costs here! Holy Crap! It is almost 1000 bucks a month for a newborn according to !this website. No freakin' way!
South Beach Restart in the morning! Whoot! I went grocery shopping today! My hubby came home and said, "Wow! There is food in the fridge! You went all out today!" I then informed him it was all healthy! :) I am excited to lose the next 25! Yay to saying goodbye to that number 2!
2 more days of working at this store.
We are talking about coming home the second week of August even though I really wanna be there in July! The only problem with August is knowing that school is probably going to be starting back up. I told my husband that, and he said, "So, we will spend mornings with my mom and evenings with your parents" Just seems a little unfair to me. There is less time in the evenings. I still want to convince him to just drive across country with me, and then he can fly home when he has to...more time for me in Tennessee! Hell I could probably work while I am there if I really wanted to! :)
Geez! It is already almost 1 in the morning!
Sooo the highlight of my day was watching this little boy stand in front of the automatic doors. He was standing just far enough away to not be in the way, but just close enough to make them open. The doors would close, and he would immediately do this crazy move to make them open again. He was so excited everytime he made those doors open. It was like he was performing magic! He was soo cute! I couldn't help but laugh. It would have made a great YouTube video.
My hubby also managed to show up at the exact time I was going to take my lunch! I hopped in the car, told him I was starving, and then he went the complete opposite direction to where the food places were. I said, "It's my lunch break. I am starving. Where are you going?" He drove way too far down the road, and then he had to turn around. When I finally got my crappy McDonald's food, I had about 8 minutes to eat. It was ok though! I still thought it was really sweet that he stopped by!
Ohhhh! I finally get to call my mama tomorrow! I paid the freakin' phone bill! YAY! I can't wait! Then I can tell her that I still have no idea when I want to come home! YAY! OK, I totally know WHEN I want to, but I don't believe Jack will be able to get off of work. I still kind of want to ask my parents if they will fix my car instead. Which reminds me! My husband got an offer to work 4 days at his day rate. The only problem is that he has that stupid class that he has to do for the court stuff. SUCKS! Frackin' SUCKS! That totally would have been the money to fix my freakin' car! He did tell me that there are going to be a lot of gigs coming up, and I told him he better work them if they are offered to him. He says to me, "If I do that, you probably won't see me very much." Ummm seriously? Does he think we don't need the money? We totally do! If I don't get to see him for a couple of weekends, does that not seem like exactly what we have been doing while I work at this store? I would go do the damn shows if I could!
Oh and btw liquid bandage f'ing hurts when you put it on. I got a paper cut tonight, and I just thought I would try it out. It stings soooooo freakin' bad!

Last day of closing!
I hope! Everyone seems to think that I will be able to resume my normal job Monday! I am so excited! I just hate that I only get Sunday off this weekend. I will have one day off and then go 5 straight! Bleech. Luckily dinner time won't be 11 o'clock anymore. I always eat "lunch" at work around dinner time.
I fell asleep on the couch last night because I didn't want to have to put the dogs up. I always feel bad about putting them in their cages anyway. I wish they wouldn't pee on stuff if I were to leave them out by themselves all day.

Trying to decide.
I am totally thinking about ditching my husband, so I can be in Tennessee for the birth of my niece! The first girl on my side of the immediate family since ME! YAY! I was looking at flights to go home around that time, and they are about 400 bucks roundtrip. I could go home, get to see my niece and nephew (oh and those other people I call family and a few lucky friends), and get my tags renewed! I just really want Jack to be there when we FINALLY get to meet our nephew and niece!
The only problem with this is that I will have less time on my South Beach Diet before going home. I am still planning on restarting. Thursday is grocery shopping day! I really want to lose this next 25 lbs. That is my smaller goal. I know it should just be 5 or 10 lbs to look forward to, but 25 lbs will put me at 200.
Reading Misty's blog reminded me that I put on my tennis shoes (or ten-a-shoes as we call them in the south) yesterday, and I just really wanted to exercise. I mean, that seriously sounds like a sign to me. :) I was going to take Roscoe for a walk yesterday, but he decided he didn't want to go after I took him out to pee. No, seriously. He sat down and told me he didn't want to go. Ok, ya'll will probably never believe that that actually happened, but it did!
The worst part of the day today was when I was informed that the show Cheaters is all fake. I am totally disappointed! I feel like someone just told me the the Easter Bunny isn't real. I will never forget that episode with the goat orgy, or the one where the host got "stabbed." I just don't think I will ever be able to watch it again after finding out it is all fake!
Ok! Now time to start up the new episode of Glee. :)
Oh but before that I have to tell you that I am thinking about trying a jicama. Google it. :)
We started watching Breaking Bad yesterday. It is a pretty good show!

Blockbuster
I was so pissed last night! We went to the Blockbuster to get the last 2 discs of Battlestar Galactica. I was so excited! I finally am going to finish this show up, NOPE! They didn't have the last disc! Ugh! I wanted to get the discs Sunday, but my husband was all whiney about wanted to get something else. I let him, but I should have just gotten my discs because he hasn't watched the ones he got yet! MEN!

Yeah, I'm still awake. What's it to ya?
Ok, so the other day I was working, and the manager of the store asks me if I want some sunglasses. I guess there was a box of sunglasses that had been left for a long time, so they were just getting rid of them. I pick out a couple of pair. One is Revlon and the other some brand I have never heard of. Well the brand I have never heard of are like at least an 80 dollar pair of sunglasses. I love FREE stuff! :) Now, I just hope that I don't lose this pair!

I did it....
As you can see above, I have officially updated my ticker. Ugh. I admit it. I have gained some weight, but as I said yesterday. KNOWING that I will be going home sometime in the VERY near future, I am ready to start back up on Phase 1. I regret to inform you that you will yet again be bored to tears reading about what I ate that day. Sorry, but it helps me to be able to look back and see that I cheated 10 times in the past 10 days, and that perhaps that is why the scale didn't move instead of the fact that I don't think the diet is working. I have already informed my husband that I will be making that first expensive grocery trip at the end of the week. The first trip is always the worst, and then you realize that you don't have to spend that much because you already have a lot of the food in your house.
Ok on to other things. :)
So, I have been thinking about this being able to fly home thing, and I now have some reservations. I am totally excited that my parents are willing to front the money, so I can fly home just in time to meet my niece! My reservation is the fact that my car DESPERATELY needs to be fixed. I am really tempted to see if my mom would be willing to pay for that, and then we could just drive home. We would also not have to worry about what to do with the dogs. Our neighbors that we were planning on asking to watch the dogs got a new dog today. :( What the heck will we do with the dogs if we fly home? We will have to board them, and I am sure that will be ridiculous for 3 dogs! Uh..yeah, I just looked it is at least 50 dollars a dog. If we drive, they can just ride in the back seat. They were so good when I drove across country the first time. I am sure that they would love to see their grandhumans!

I am here to report some EXCITING news! YAY!
Ok, I know I had some EXCITING news, and I do. I have to start with the depressing, this frackin' sucks news. I have to work ANOTHER week at that stupid store! Ugh! I went in on Friday totally excited that it was my last day only to be told I had another week. Apparently the store that they are transferring the person from has someone on vacation, and that manager wants her to stay one more week. I would also like to add that I am not entirely sure that she knows they are transerring her yet. The girl who is from that store that works occasionally at the store I am working at (I can sound so confusing at times) said that she doesn't think that Jennifer (that's her name too..weird) even likes to work at that store. eek! I hope that I am not stuck there any longer!
exciting news...I came home yesterday from work. I walk into my apartment, and my jaw drops! OMG! There are barstools in my apartment! They are the perfect height, and even more perfect is the fact that my husband found them for FREE! Yep! They were just sitting out in the "free spot."
I am still not to the EXCITING news yet. Just keep on reading.
So last night Jack and I were supposed to go to a party. I totally didn't care to go, but figured what the hay. We start driving, and I discover that my husband has no idea how to get there (and I don't remember). We don't have an address. Ladida. We stop over at Bella Terra (that is our fav. place to see movies), and we use the interweb at Time Warner (mine as well "try out the internet speed") to get the address/mapquest. We drive all the way out to Venice. That is not a short drive! I tell my husband this is definitely not the exit we got off the last time, but we figure it will take us to the same place. Well. It didn't. I know that was not the same street. It looked totally different, so we drove around aimlessly trying to find this place. We were unsuccessful, so my husband got frustrated and gave up. The whole point to telling you this story is that now I know that my husband starts feeling the same way I do when I don't have a freakin' clue where I am going. This is only while I have someone in the car with me. I don't mind driving around lost if I am by myself. He always gives me grief about getting an attitude when I have no idea where I am going. Now I can look at him and say, "Remember when..."
Paid the rent today. Barely any money left. Thanks goodness we get paid on each other's off weeks.
Now it's TIME FOR LETTER TIME with Jennifer!
Dear Comcast,
Last night I attempted to check my e-mail only to realize that I apparently did not have the correct password. I was totally confused! I wondered, "Did I change my password? Did someone steal my info and change my password for me?" I got ahold of my parents because I was concerned. Perhaps they thought I didn't use the e-mail account. They might have deleted it. Since they had no idea what I was talking about, my dad investigated it. He changed my password for me all is well. Well all was well until I realized that you sent me an E-MAIL informing me that you had changed my password because it wasn't strong enough! Um HELLO?! If you change my password, how the hell am I supposed to get into my e-mail account to read the e-mail that tells me that you CHANGED my password. There was no forewarning. No, if you don't change your password within the next XX days, you might not be able to get in to read your e-mail. What in the frack were you thinking?! Thanks to my daddy for fixing the problem! No thanks to you!
Jenn
Ok, so you have been waiting patiently long enough!
Time for EXCITING NEWS with Jennifer
I just spoke to my mama. She told me that they are going to pay to fly us roundtrip to come home and visit! I am so excited! I will finally get to meet my nephew and get to meet my niece because she will be here! I will probably be there to go to my cousin's wedding! YAY! I'll get to see my family! YAY YAY YAY! Now to figure out what to do with my dogs when we go. Eek! Someone want to come to California while I am in TN? I just request that you take care of my babies, and not leave my apartment a total mess. :)
I would also like to add that this is the exact motivation I need to get South Beachin' again! I am going grocery shopping as soon as I get paid! EEK! It would be AWESOME to lose some more weight! I have been pretty successful at keeping it off even with eating crappy. I haven't gained it all back or even most of it. At my lowest weight I had gotten down 47 lbs, but I had also been sick that week so it doesn't entirely count because I lost like 10 lbs in no time from not eating (it is fun to look at up there at the top of my blog though). I will update the counter. I am still down a lot (thinking like 32) from what I weighed at the beginning of my South Beachin'. I believe I have gained like 7 or 8 lbs, and it has mostly been while working at this store. SOOOOO...Jump back on the wagon ladies who have fallen off with me! WE CAN DO THIS!

I couldn't sleep last night.
I am sure that comes as no surprise. I lay in bed for about 6 hours. I fell asleep. I woke up. I lay there. It was an all night process. I almost got up and just blogged about everything that was going through my mind. What is sad is that right now, I can't remember what I was obsessing about last night. It just goes to show you how unimportant everything was. I do remember at one point thinking that I could really use some Ambien. A regular bedtime schedule would be nice too.
I was told twice today that I really know how to talk to people, and that I can get my point across well. Oh, and that I have a way of getting people to listen. I have been asked several times this month why I am not a store manager. At this point, I wish I were a store manager. I mean I would still get to make my own schedule. That sounds good to me.
My husband asked me when I was going to go change my license over. Ugh...I don't wanna, but I have to do that or get someone to register my car in Robertson County. I would much rather get someone to re-register my car in TN, so I don't have to go through emissions. I would love to just fly home and do it myself. It would be a one time thing. Then I could just renew by mail every year like my neighbor does. He is from Virginia.
I really have nothing interesting to say. I am still watching Battlestar Galactica. Oh and tomorrow/today (whatever) should be my last day at this store! Yippie!

I found the bike I want!
I keep finding fracking blogs that I like.
My newest discovery is I'm just walkin'
This guy is walking across the US! It is crazy, but I LOVE it! It reminds me of driving across country! Honestly, it really makes me want to start walking across the country. I want to drive across country again sooooo bad! My hubby doesn't want to. He always tries to convince me that it would be cheaper for us to just fly. Perhaps it is, but I REALLY want to drive again. Ok, so I really just want to make the trip by myself again. It was so peaceful. I had so much time to think. It was absolutely beautiful. I didn't get to stop everywhere I wanted to because I had the dogs with me. Someday...
We are still watching Battlestar Galactica back to back hence the fracking in the blog post name. It is getting GOOD too!
I **crossing fingers** only have 2 more days at this store until I go back to my regular job! YAY! I will be so happy to be at home at nights/weekends, and my husband will be so glad too! Oh! Did I mention that my vacation time already got put in? YAY! Three weeks. One of the few perks to working for Rite Aid for so long.
Have another screening to go to tomorrow, The Solitary Man. That is if I can print the stupid ticket. Maybe my hubby will think about it tomorrow while he is at work.

Just posted a cryptic status update.
Like it if you see it. It is about my blog, but I don't share the web address with just anyone because then people I talk about might see it. :) I anticipate a few, "What are you talking about?" comments.
Post 160 <--Wow!
I had a "this is what I hate about my job" moment earlier. Here it is...I frackin' (Battlestar Galactica is getting to me) hate when a customer asks me a question, and I give them the answer. Then they turn around and ask someone else because they don't think I know what the hell I am talking about. I have worked for Rite Aid (/Eckerd) for 10 years (ugh). I have had a couple of moments where I got to look at a person and give them the "you should have freakin' listened to me" looks. Those moments where a person sticks their foor in their mouth. I remember (in TN) someone asking me if we carried something. I told them that we did not. They immediately went up front and asked the cashier who is older than me the same damn question. Good ol' Marie or Janet (honestly I am sure both of them have done this) says, "I'm not sure. I'll ask Jennifer. She will know." When I arrived at the front and was asked the same damn question, that person got the abrupt "no." My other favorite (ok so honestly, it is kind of gratifying..) thing is when someone looks at me and asks to speak to the manager, and I get to look at them right back and say, "I am the manager." That totally pisses people off! When I was in TN, it was even better because I would let them know when my manager would be there, since I apparently wasn't doing what they wanted. What those people didn't realize was that I was the easy manager. :) Rebecca would just flat out tell you no. I at least attempted to make you happy. hehehehe my favorite line, "I am the manager" I pulled that one on that kid that was trying to buy the liquor the other night and got rude with me. He totally thought he was going to be able to bitch about me to someone. Hahahaha. ahh
Oh! Have I said on here that people need to learn when to shut the hell up on Facebook? If not, I just did. There I was the other day innocently looking at people's status updates when all of the sudden I come across a girl's that I used to work with. It said something about moving on, but then in the comments her and her ex boyfriend are going back and forth at each other. She talks about him giving her a black eye and how mean he was to her. Get this! Dumb ass admits it on her status! Oh baby I'm so sorry. I totally regret doing that. Blah blah blah. Please come back. I'll be better. Geez! I am glad that so far she has had enough sense to not go back with him. But anyway, did I need to know about her personal business? NO! Of course, once I see it happen. I have to be nosey and keep up with all of the other conversations they have. Could they not have gone back and forth with private messages? This brings me to something very similar that was happening this morning. Luckily, I have been deleted by this person, so I no longer have to read it. I see my cousin's status requesting her friends/family to not speak with her husband if he calls or messages us. I am used to my cousin and her TMI status updates, so I just think, "Whatever. He must have farted, and she was afraid if we opened the post that we would have to smell it." Then a few hours later, I see a post from her husband bad mouthing her. Um HELLO?! This is Facebook! No one needs to hear about what may or may not be happening between you and your spouse! It totally irritated me, but at the same time like I said before, I am nosey once I read something like that. (I need to call or text my cousin to see what is actually going on.) He has since deleted me which is fine by me. I got tired of all of the political status updates anyway. I was about to hide him, so I wouldn't have to read them in passing.
I totally think tonight was the last night that I have to close this store! YAY! Friday should be my last day there! I am so glad that I have made it through! I will miss the people that work there, but I will not miss working nights and weekends! I don't have to close at all for the rest of the week. I just work 2 mids! Thanks to Memorial Day, I get 3 days off this week!
