Just thought you should know. Today is my one cheat day this week (meaning the first seven days of phase one and not Sunday thru Saturday). Honestly, I just didn't feel like cooking dinner. I am too exausted to cook from thinking about this moving crap. Ugh.
We have to decide if we are going to just rent a U-haul (which is outrageous BTW) or just do what we did the first time. SELL EVERY PIECE of furniture we own. <----I really like my stuff. :( I am totally sad. I know we can buy stuff that is similar, but you remember how much time I spent looking for the perfect furniture to go with my couch that costed way too much! On the plus side, we can get a new bed.... not that ours isn't less than a year old. GEEZ! Does anyone know of a really cheap moving company that will go across country? I wanna keep my stuff! I can't have a yard sale here, so I will be forced to Craigslist everything. Luckily we haven't purchased a ton of stuff, since we moved last year. I think it costed around 600 bucks to ship our crap UPS the last time. I still have the receipts, so I will have to look. Hey...we WILL get our super awesome TV back!
I told my mom today. She is super happy. She was trying to ask me all of these questions that Jack and I haven't even gotten to yet. We just talked about it yesterday.
I called Margie at the Nashville district office today. She asked when I was coming backI asked her about the store in Goodlettsville needing a manager, and she said that as far she knew they were still looking for someone!!!!! YAY! Let's hope I get this position! I also stressed to her the importance of NOT TELLING ANYONE! I practically begged her to not tell anyone. She said she would only tell Mark. I imagine the Smyrna store started gossiping about me coming back about 15 minutes later. Rite Aid has no secrets, and everyone knows it (it's even like that here). The only difference now is that no one will talk to me about it on Facebook. Honestly, I really hope that she did not mention it to anyone because I don't want Rebecca (she is my former manager) to know yet. I am afraid she will sabotage the people she has and make them quit to get me back. I would rather try and get promoted. I don't want to be stuck as a shift supervisor FOREVER! I want to go to store manager, and then try to move up into an HR position. My next step to transfer is to get a call from Margie or Mark to see if they have a spot they can put me in, and then I have to tell my district manager out here.
It's kind of pathetic that I don't even really know you but am super amped about your return... Just sayin'. :)
ReplyDeleteAww! Thanks! :) We will definitely have to get together for lunch or something when I get back there!
