I am here to report some EXCITING news! YAY!

Ok, I know I had some EXCITING news, and I do. I have to start with the depressing, this frackin' sucks news. I have to work ANOTHER week at that stupid store! Ugh! I went in on Friday totally excited that it was my last day only to be told I had another week. Apparently the store that they are transferring the person from has someone on vacation, and that manager wants her to stay one more week. I would also like to add that I am not entirely sure that she knows they are transerring her yet. The girl who is from that store that works occasionally at the store I am working at (I can sound so confusing at times) said that she doesn't think that Jennifer (that's her name too..weird) even likes to work at that store. eek! I hope that I am not stuck there any longer!

exciting news...I came home yesterday from work. I walk into my apartment, and my jaw drops! OMG! There are barstools in my apartment! They are the perfect height, and even more perfect is the fact that my husband found them for FREE! Yep! They were just sitting out in the "free spot."

I am still not to the EXCITING news yet. Just keep on reading.

So last night Jack and I were supposed to go to a party. I totally didn't care to go, but figured what the hay. We start driving, and I discover that my husband has no idea how to get there (and I don't remember). We don't have an address. Ladida. We stop over at Bella Terra (that is our fav. place to see movies), and we use the interweb at Time Warner (mine as well "try out the internet speed") to get the address/mapquest. We drive all the way out to Venice. That is not a short drive! I tell my husband this is definitely not the exit we got off the last time, but we figure it will take us to the same place. Well. It didn't. I know that was not the same street. It looked totally different, so we drove around aimlessly trying to find this place. We were unsuccessful, so my husband got frustrated and gave up. The whole point to telling you this story is that now I know that my husband starts feeling the same way I do when I don't have a freakin' clue where I am going. This is only while I have someone in the car with me. I don't mind driving around lost if I am by myself. He always gives me grief about getting an attitude when I have no idea where I am going. Now I can look at him and say, "Remember when..."

Paid the rent today. Barely any money left. Thanks goodness we get paid on each other's off weeks.

Now it's TIME FOR LETTER TIME with Jennifer!

Dear Comcast,
Last night I attempted to check my e-mail only to realize that I apparently did not have the correct password. I was totally confused! I wondered, "Did I change my password? Did someone steal my info and change my password for me?" I got ahold of my parents because I was concerned. Perhaps they thought I didn't use the e-mail account. They might have deleted it. Since they had no idea what I was talking about, my dad investigated it. He changed my password for me all is well. Well all was well until I realized that you sent me an E-MAIL informing me that you had changed my password because it wasn't strong enough! Um HELLO?! If you change my password, how the hell am I supposed to get into my e-mail account to read the e-mail that tells me that you CHANGED my password. There was no forewarning. No, if you don't change your password within the next XX days, you might not be able to get in to read your e-mail. What in the frack were you thinking?! Thanks to my daddy for fixing the problem! No thanks to you!
Jenn

Ok, so you have been waiting patiently long enough!

Time for EXCITING NEWS with Jennifer

I just spoke to my mama. She told me that they are going to pay to fly us roundtrip to come home and visit! I am so excited! I will finally get to meet my nephew and get to meet my niece because she will be here! I will probably be there to go to my cousin's wedding! YAY! I'll get to see my family! YAY YAY YAY! Now to figure out what to do with my dogs when we go. Eek! Someone want to come to California while I am in TN? I just request that you take care of my babies, and not leave my apartment a total mess. :)

I would also like to add that this is the exact motivation I need to get South Beachin' again! I am going grocery shopping as soon as I get paid! EEK! It would be AWESOME to lose some more weight! I have been pretty successful at keeping it off even with eating crappy. I haven't gained it all back or even most of it. At my lowest weight I had gotten down 47 lbs, but I had also been sick that week so it doesn't entirely count because I lost like 10 lbs in no time from not eating (it is fun to look at up there at the top of my blog though). I will update the counter. I am still down a lot (thinking like 32) from what I weighed at the beginning of my South Beachin'. I believe I have gained like 7 or 8 lbs, and it has mostly been while working at this store. SOOOOO...Jump back on the wagon ladies who have fallen off with me! WE CAN DO THIS!

I couldn't sleep last night.

I am sure that comes as no surprise. I lay in bed for about 6 hours. I fell asleep. I woke up. I lay there. It was an all night process. I almost got up and just blogged about everything that was going through my mind. What is sad is that right now, I can't remember what I was obsessing about last night. It just goes to show you how unimportant everything was. I do remember at one point thinking that I could really use some Ambien. A regular bedtime schedule would be nice too.

I was told twice today that I really know how to talk to people, and that I can get my point across well. Oh, and that I have a way of getting people to listen. I have been asked several times this month why I am not a store manager. At this point, I wish I were a store manager. I mean I would still get to make my own schedule. That sounds good to me.

My husband asked me when I was going to go change my license over. Ugh...I don't wanna, but I have to do that or get someone to register my car in Robertson County. I would much rather get someone to re-register my car in TN, so I don't have to go through emissions. I would love to just fly home and do it myself. It would be a one time thing. Then I could just renew by mail every year like my neighbor does. He is from Virginia.

I really have nothing interesting to say. I am still watching Battlestar Galactica. Oh and tomorrow/today (whatever) should be my last day at this store! Yippie!

I found the bike I want!

It is super cute! You don't even know how much it costs. Ok, yeah you do. You are going to think I am nuts. I will never actually get this bike, but a girl can dream right? 600 bucks. Yep for a freakin' bike! I could buy a POS car (in TN) for that price!

I keep finding fracking blogs that I like.

My newest discovery is I'm just walkin'
This guy is walking across the US! It is crazy, but I LOVE it! It reminds me of driving across country! Honestly, it really makes me want to start walking across the country. I want to drive across country again sooooo bad! My hubby doesn't want to. He always tries to convince me that it would be cheaper for us to just fly. Perhaps it is, but I REALLY want to drive again. Ok, so I really just want to make the trip by myself again. It was so peaceful. I had so much time to think. It was absolutely beautiful. I didn't get to stop everywhere I wanted to because I had the dogs with me. Someday...

We are still watching Battlestar Galactica back to back hence the fracking in the blog post name. It is getting GOOD too!

I **crossing fingers** only have 2 more days at this store until I go back to my regular job! YAY! I will be so happy to be at home at nights/weekends, and my husband will be so glad too! Oh! Did I mention that my vacation time already got put in? YAY! Three weeks. One of the few perks to working for Rite Aid for so long.

Have another screening to go to tomorrow, The Solitary Man. That is if I can print the stupid ticket. Maybe my hubby will think about it tomorrow while he is at work.

PostSecret

Have you ever seen this site? Pretty fun to read.

PostSecret

Just posted a cryptic status update.

Like it if you see it. It is about my blog, but I don't share the web address with just anyone because then people I talk about might see it. :) I anticipate a few, "What are you talking about?" comments.

Post 160 <--Wow!

I had a "this is what I hate about my job" moment earlier. Here it is...I frackin' (Battlestar Galactica is getting to me) hate when a customer asks me a question, and I give them the answer. Then they turn around and ask someone else because they don't think I know what the hell I am talking about. I have worked for Rite Aid (/Eckerd) for 10 years (ugh). I have had a couple of moments where I got to look at a person and give them the "you should have freakin' listened to me" looks. Those moments where a person sticks their foor in their mouth. I remember (in TN) someone asking me if we carried something. I told them that we did not. They immediately went up front and asked the cashier who is older than me the same damn question. Good ol' Marie or Janet (honestly I am sure both of them have done this) says, "I'm not sure. I'll ask Jennifer. She will know." When I arrived at the front and was asked the same damn question, that person got the abrupt "no." My other favorite (ok so honestly, it is kind of gratifying..) thing is when someone looks at me and asks to speak to the manager, and I get to look at them right back and say, "I am the manager." That totally pisses people off! When I was in TN, it was even better because I would let them know when my manager would be there, since I apparently wasn't doing what they wanted. What those people didn't realize was that I was the easy manager. :) Rebecca would just flat out tell you no. I at least attempted to make you happy. hehehehe my favorite line, "I am the manager" I pulled that one on that kid that was trying to buy the liquor the other night and got rude with me. He totally thought he was going to be able to bitch about me to someone. Hahahaha. ahh

Oh! Have I said on here that people need to learn when to shut the hell up on Facebook? If not, I just did. There I was the other day innocently looking at people's status updates when all of the sudden I come across a girl's that I used to work with. It said something about moving on, but then in the comments her and her ex boyfriend are going back and forth at each other. She talks about him giving her a black eye and how mean he was to her. Get this! Dumb ass admits it on her status! Oh baby I'm so sorry. I totally regret doing that. Blah blah blah. Please come back. I'll be better. Geez! I am glad that so far she has had enough sense to not go back with him. But anyway, did I need to know about her personal business? NO! Of course, once I see it happen. I have to be nosey and keep up with all of the other conversations they have. Could they not have gone back and forth with private messages? This brings me to something very similar that was happening this morning. Luckily, I have been deleted by this person, so I no longer have to read it. I see my cousin's status requesting her friends/family to not speak with her husband if he calls or messages us. I am used to my cousin and her TMI status updates, so I just think, "Whatever. He must have farted, and she was afraid if we opened the post that we would have to smell it." Then a few hours later, I see a post from her husband bad mouthing her. Um HELLO?! This is Facebook! No one needs to hear about what may or may not be happening between you and your spouse! It totally irritated me, but at the same time like I said before, I am nosey once I read something like that. (I need to call or text my cousin to see what is actually going on.) He has since deleted me which is fine by me. I got tired of all of the political status updates anyway. I was about to hide him, so I wouldn't have to read them in passing.

I totally think tonight was the last night that I have to close this store! YAY! Friday should be my last day there! I am so glad that I have made it through! I will miss the people that work there, but I will not miss working nights and weekends! I don't have to close at all for the rest of the week. I just work 2 mids! Thanks to Memorial Day, I get 3 days off this week!
