I have a new (to me) washing machine and DRYER!  Whoot!  Our washing machine was not a hunk of crap, but who would want to turn down a frontload washing machine (besides the girl that works with me that after I told her I was getting it proceeded to tell me how everyone that she knows that has one doesn't like it.).  The DRYER though.  Oh the DRYER!  It is like the best thing on Earth right now!  The dryer that we used to use was OLD, and I do mean OLD!  I mean, guys, my granny used it.  That woman died about 12 years ago.  She was not in good health when she passed, so she probably hadn't used it herself in a couple of years before that.  I should totally look at the date.  Anyway,  it took 3 hours to dry a load of clothes.  Can ya'll now imagine the stacks of clothes in my house.  Yes, I mean it...stacks....gross right?  Yeah, well not anymore!  This dryer dries FAST!  Whoot!  We did two loads of laundry before we went to bed last night!  YAY!

It was a pain in the ass getting it here though.  After I got off of work, we drove to Smyrna to borrow my dad's truck.  Then we had to drive to Jack's mom's house over an hour away to pick them up.  While we were there I got to hear more of the family gossip.  I just can't get over how someone is more concerned about what is going to happen to them versus the fact that her mama is in the hospital.  She appears to have dementia.  She has lost a crazy amount of weight too.  Mo says that every now and then she gets to see a glimpse of the person she knows, but then she goes back to talking crazy (for lack of a better word).  Anyway after I got to hear some of the family craziness while Jack, his stepdad, and his brother loaded the washer and dryer, we drove back to our house to take a picture of the dryer plug outlet.  We headed to Home Depot.  That was supposed to be a quick trip....Jack ran into a very pregnant former school friend, Julie, (Misty, she says HI by the way.  ::Champion Grubbs::)  We talked to them forever.  So much for getting my parents' truck back by a decent time.  After we finish there, we have to go home and unload the stupid things!  The dryer weighs nothing, but the washing machine weighs a ton!  I leave after that to take the truck back.  Jack calls me, "I broke the door and the frame."  Luckily it was not the outside door.  I do not know how the other washer and dryer got in there. The doors are tiny.  Anyway to make a long, boring story longer, it took like 5 hours to take care of this.  C-ra-zy
