It is a girl! I am going to have a niece! YAY! Now I will have a niece and a nephew! I am hoping that, since Chris and Melinda are having a girl that when Jack and I decide to procreate that we will start off with a boy! Gotta pass down that family name. :) Now it is time for some shopping, once I get some extra cash! Frilly girl stuff! Whoot! I found a website that had little ruffle bloomers on it the other day, and I wanted to buy them so bad and now I can! YAY!
Oh! I didn't tell you my California story for yesterday! I was working at a store yesterday, and this guy was coming down an aisle that one of the employees was in. Instead of politely saying excuse me, he said MOVE! I mean his voice was totally rude. I overheard his phone conversation he was having about how his friend wasn't helping him out by lending him any money, and all I could think was, "Well if you treat your friend like that, I don't blame him." He was obviously from California. You can always tell if someone is originally from here or not by the way they talk to you or don't talk to you.
I had a sandwich today. GASP! I know I know! I haven't eaten a sandwich in a very long time. (Aside from my very rare Subway trip) I was craving one today, so I just ate it. It was good too, but definitely not something I care to indulge in very often. That white bread changes right into sugar in your bloodstream. Stay away! The scale moved again today, but it was most definitely not in the direction I wanted it to move. When Jack goes out of town, hopefully I will be able to go the direction I want it to go in! Gotta love soup!
