Day 50!

I just found out that one of my really good friends from high school lost her sister today. She found out on her birthday. I have been trying to find the words to just say something, anything to her, but words are really failing me right now. We spent so much time together that we became family. I just want to give her a big hug. I cannot imagine Melissa without a smile on her face, and to think that her heart is breaking because she lost her sibling just kills me. I cannot even imagine what she is going through right now. While we haven't really kept in touch that much since high school, I still consider her one of my sisters. All of the girls I was in color guard with are my sisters. She only lives 6 hours away from me now, but I doubt she is in California right now. I imagine that she is flying to TN to be with her family at this time.
